l recently had the incredible opportunity to join Healthcare Escapes, organized by the amazing Sierra and ReyAnn, on an unforgettable trip to Peru. This is my second trip with them and again they exceeded my expectations! From start to finish, this journey was packed with culture, adventure, and connections that went far deeper than I ever expected.
We stayed in a stunning hotel (Willka T’ika) with a garden that felt nothing short of enchanted, like stepping into another world. Each morning, I woke up to the fresh air and the magical sights of the garden, which set the perfect tone for the day’s adventures.
One of the highlights was a serene Mountain View picnic with the alpacas & llamas that I’ll never forget, (when a group of alpacas charged at the other tables and started eating people’s flower decorations) and, of course, making it to Machu Picchu was absolutely breathtaking. The food throughout the trip was delicious, with every meal capturing the essence of Peru’s rich culinary heritage. Every bite was a treat! Most meals were vegetarian at the hotel but we did have some opportunities to eat other Peruvian cuisine as well! There is no such thing as a bad meal in Peru! 🇵🇪
I went into this trip only knowing a few people, but by the end, we were all so much closer, like lifelong friends. There’s something profound about traveling with strangers and watching those bonds form naturally. We laughed, shared stories, and supported each other during every adventure, it made the experience richer than I could have ever imagined.
And on top of all of this, Sierra and ReyAnn made my 30th birthday a memory I’ll cherish forever. They went out of their way to make it special, turning what could have been just another day into a celebration I’ll never forget. It was a reminder of how deeply they care about the people on their trips—they don’t just organize; they create memories that last a lifetime.
If you’ve ever thought about booking a trip like this, I can’t recommend Healthcare Escapes enough. It’s not just about seeing new places it’s about connecting, growing, and making memories that will change your life.
I walked away from this trip with new friends, deeper connections, and a heart full of gratitude. This experience was life-changing in the best possible way, and I hope everyone has the chance to feel what I felt.

This trip exceeded my expectations by far.
3,500+ photos, 26 healthcare workers, 9 days, countless memories, so many new friends. This experience has my heart so full. It has been over a week and I’m still just processing it and just in awe of everything we experienced. This trip was just incredible.
Sierra and ReyAnn went above and beyond and made sure every detail was carefully considered, right down to options for free days and transportation within each city. Accommodations were perfect, the food was amazing. Switzerland was easily the most stunning place I’ve ever been.
Thank you so much Sierra and ReyAnn for such a beautiful and unforgettable experience! I can’t wait for more trips!

This was my second time to Switzerland but Healthcareescapes with Sierra/ReyAnn still managed to make this trip feel so one of a kind and special. It was just the right amount of planned excursion days and free days to explore on your own. With any type of travel, you’d always expect some kind of hiccups, but everything went perfectly smooth. All the transportation, hotel accommodations, and restaurants were prepared and timely with our large group. It was my first travel group trip and I’d say it was a total success and couldn’t recommend them enough. Can’t wait to travel with them again!
