Arrival/Meet in Fort William at 10am: Meet your guide in Fort William at 10am for a trip briefing on the day’s climb, including safety instructions and what to expect.

Instruction:  This day will be used to practice walking on the snow and ice. You will head to the snow line in the local area for an introduction to the winter environment, an introduction/revision of ice axe/cramponing skills and the style of mountaineering required for a winter ascent.

Evening: Check-in to the accommodation for a well-deserved rest and a group dinner at a local pub to share stories of the day’s events and for a briefing for the big day ahead.
