Torres del Paine’s most iconic trail begins in the Las Torres sector and climbs through the valley, winding past forests, rivers, and ancient glacial moraines. At the end of the hike, the Base Torres viewpoint reveals a turquoise lagoon framed by the park’s towering granite peaks—an unforgettable sight.
The round-trip hike takes between 7 and 9 hours and involves approximately 900 metres of elevation gain. It is physically demanding, particularly during the steep final ascent, but the reward makes every step worthwhile.
