Poon Hill yoga trek provides a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna range and the hidden treasures of Nepalese culture.
This adventure journey passes through many tourist hotspots, icy waterfall which are very pleasant. The course starts from Pokhara and can be ended at Pokhara for your next destination. This program will help you practice integration of the principles of Yoga into daily life With magnificent views of snow-capped Himalays, glaciers. The benefit of joining this program is that it supports and encourages the deep transformation processes.
We will welcome you in the airport and transfer to the center, discuss about the program, proceed for the government paper work, overnight stay in the centre.
Drive to Pokhara in the morning in available standard micro bus or tourist bus (4-5 hours). This bus ride passes through the hilly winding road along with the Trishuli River having the great view of rivers, forest and terraced fields, overnight stay in Pokhara.
Early morning wakeup then we have tea before yoga. We practice yoga for a hour then have breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Nayapul (50KM). We start our trek towards Tikhedhunga. On the trek we pass through few towns, reach to Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
After tea and Breakfast in the morning we start our Trek towards Ghorepani. On the way, we cross a stream on a suspension bridge. Trek to a Magar Village which is called Ulleri. Above the village where the trail climbs gently through the cultivated fields, rhododendron and oak forests then stop at Nangethanti for lunch and short rest. After lunch we start walking towards Ghorepani through beautiful forest. We do yoga in Ghorepani then dinner. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Wake up early in the morning then a hour hike to Poon Hill. Where you can enjoy with Panoramic Mountain Views & beautiful Sunrise View from the eyes of your mind. Then we Trek down to Ghorepani and have Breakfast then start our Trek to Tadapani, meaning far water supply in this village from long distance. The trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali. Then descend to reach Banthanti and reach Tadapani, do yoga in the evening. Overnight in hotel.
Wake up in the morning and practice yoga. After yoga we have breakfast. Then our trek continues towards Ghandruk. After walking around 4 hours we reach Ghandruk, Gurung village which is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which provides Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close-up views of Annapurna South and Fishtail Himalayas. After lunch, We drive back to Pokhara via Nayapul. Overnight in Pokhara.
You can leave for your next destination in the morning after breakfast.
