Arrive at Hoedspruit Airport, welcome to our beautiful Airport in the middle of the Bushveld! After meeting your guide at the airport it is time to check in to your home for the next couple of days, Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Nestled in the soul of the Kruger to Canyon Biosphere lies the town of Hoedspruit, South Africa’s premier wildlife destination. A warm and pleasant piece of bush paradise where two major river systems – the mighty Olifants and the swift-flowing Blyde unite. Where sunsets explode in ginger and pink, and a million stars speckle the night sky. 

Just outside town, on a private little wildlife reserve, is home to Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. The perfect setting for your holiday – awaiting canvas for you to embellish with your memories. Dinner is to be enjoyed at the local legendary restaurant Sleepers Railway Restaurant.

Elephant Interaction (Hoedspruit)

Arrive at sunrise for your introduction to a very special family and immerse yourself fully in the natural environment of one of Africa’s most epic creatures.  The start is an early one before the elephants head off into the bush to forage in the wild.  Encounters are limited to just one a day, as we have committed to giving this herd as much time in their natural environment as possible.  We only accept a  limited number of guests per encounter to keep human-animal interaction at an absolute minimum.

Blyde River Canyon Boat Cruise

Welcome to Blyde River Canyon! We offer scenic boat trips on the beautiful Blyderivierspoort Dam in the Blyde River Canyon. This is a place of pure, untouched beauty, and there is no better way to experience it than from the water on our comfortable pontoon boat. Our experienced skipper, a born and bred “Hoedspruiter” with a wealth of knowledge and passion for the canyon, will guide you through this amazing place. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre Tour

Situated in the shadow of the majestic ‘’Mariepskop’’ which forms part of the mighty Drakensberg mountains, our unique Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is home to many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured, and poisoned wildlife. Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is extremely proud of its efforts in wildlife education in South Africa.

The Moholoholo team is highly dedicated conservationists committed to preserving Africa’s wildlife and they are also extremely passionate about sharing their intimate knowledge. We invite you to come and share a unique experience with us.
