Arrive in Tel Aviv late this afternoon at the Ben Gurion International Airport. Upon arrival, the group will be met and transferred to your local hotel in nearby Netanya. Depending on the time of landing: Drive to the Old Port City of Jaffa, one of the oldest biblical cities in the world and an important seaport since antiquity until hotel check-in is available. 

David Tower Hotel and Spa overlooks the Netanya coast. Guest rooms have a Nespresso coffee machine with daily supply of capsules and tea, bathroom amenities, safe deposit box, and minibar. The hotel has an indoor heated pool, fitness center and spa, onsite dining, free Wi-Fi, among other services.

After breakfast visit, check out of your hotel and head off passing through the ancient city of Caesarea where your guide will point out key landmarks. The city was built by Herod the Great and once the seat of Roman rule dating back to 25 BCE.

Head onward to visit Dir el-Muhraka (Horn of the Carmel). According to Jewish, Christian, Druze, and Muslim belief, it is on this summit that the dramatic battle between Elijah and the prophets of Baal took place. Visit the monastery on Mount Carmel that was established in the time of the Crusaders in the name of the lone abstainer prophet Elijah who fought against the heretics of his time.

Your next stop will be a visit to Megiddo, identified as the site of the ultimate battle between the forces of good and evil at the end of time (Armageddon) as mentioned in the New Testament in Revelation 16:16.

Your end destination today will be at the lakeside city of Tiberias, resting on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, to check in at your hotel.

This morning you will be up and off after breakfast. Your explorations today will begin with a visit to the 2000-year-old boat at the Jesus Boat Museum located at the Kibbutz Ginnosar. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea.

Next stop is Capernaum to see the 2nd century synagogue that throws light on the communities of that era. A house turned into a church by the Byzantines is believed to have been the home of Saint Peter.

Head onward to the Mount of Beatitudes; a beautiful church where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the northern part of the Sea of Galilee. 

Enjoy a St. Peter fish lunch this afternoon at a local restaurant. 

Continue to Caesarea Phillipi (Banias), a pagan city dedicated to the god Pan that was reconstructed in ancient times by Philip, the son of Herod. 

Visit the ancient of city of Migdal (Magdala), the home of Mary Magdalene. See the remains of a Synagogue used during the times of Jesus. 

Wrap up your day at Yardenit Baptismal Site for a Jordan River baptismal service with a local priest before you return to your hotel.

Check out of your hotel and drive to Nazareth, via Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, to visit Mt Precipice. It is believed to be the site of the Rejection of Jesus described in Luke 4:29-30. 

Visit with local tour guide and entrepreneur, Ghada Boulos, at the delightful Ghada’s Corner located in Nazareth Market. Visit her shop and join her in baking traditional Malatit cookies, as you hear stories about Nazareth and local lore.

Next, you will visit Harod Spring. Biblical tradition says it was at this site that Gideon chose his best soldiers to fight the Midianites, according to how they drank from the stream. 

Drive southeast to the ancient remains of Beit She'an, the city where Saul and his sons were hung up on the city walls by the Philistines (1st Samuel 31:10).

Leave the Galilee area and drive through the lush Jordan Valley. Ascend the Judean Mountains, and upon arriving in Jerusalem, we will stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Old City, where we shall celebrate your arrival in the holy city.

After breakfast drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. 

Descend via the Palm Sunday Walk to visit the Garden of Gethsemane. The garden is next to the magnificent Church of all Nations (Basilica of Agony). Enter through Saint Stephens’s gate and arrive at the Pools of Bethesda.

Walk onward to the Garden Tomb, an ancient Jewish burial that matches the New Testament description of the tomb Jesus was buried. For those interested visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher. 

Time permitting, you will have free time for shopping in the old city of Mamilla mall near Jaffa Gate. Lunch is by individual arrangement today.

This afternoon head to nearby Bethlehem to visit the birthplace of Jesus at the Church of Nativity with time for shopping in an area market. The grotto is of great religious significance to Christians as the birthplace of Jesus. It is the oldest site used as a place of worship in the faith and is the oldest major church in the Holy Land.

Return to the hotel with dinner provided.

Start your day with a visit to the City of David and see the newest and exciting excavations of Jerusalem during the time of the First Temple period. 

Walk into the Jewish Quarter for a take the fascinating tour at the Western Wall Tunnels and reveal the hidden sections of the Western Wall. History will come to life as you move through underground passages, discover life in Jerusalem during The Second Temple era and learn about the art, architecture and building practices.

Walk through the Jewish Quarter, reconstructed after the city was unified after the Six-Day War in 1967. Continue to the Christian Quarter to walk along the Via Dolorosa to follow in the footsteps of Jesus before his crucifixion.

Later this afternoon, see the Jewish Wailing Wall (Kotel). The Western Wall is a place of pilgrimage and sacred to the Jewish people as the only remains of the Second Temple.

After breakfast, depart for the Dead Sea area descending to the lowest land point on earth at 1388 feet (423m) below sea level. 

Proceed to Masada and ascend by cable car to the desert fortress of King Herod. This ancient fortification is situated at the top of an isolated rock plateau in the Judean Desert overlooking the Dead Sea.

No visit is complete without visiting the beautiful Ein Gedi Reserve. This nature reserve is one of Israel’s premier hiking spots featuring spectacular beauty in a variety of landscapes including a botanical garden. A great escape for the local people it is worth a stop before visiting the Dead Sea. 

Cross a bucket list item off your list with a float in the Dead Sea. Visit a local resort for lunch time to relax in the healing waters. The salt content of the water is 31.5% making the water so buoyant that it is impossible for visitors to sink. The water also contains 21 minerals including high levels of magnesium, sodium, potassium, and bromine and 12 of these minerals are found in no other body of water in the world.
