Hong Kong is a city where towering skylines, rich cultural traditions, and diverse communities come together. During this unique mission experience, you'll have the opportunity to partner with local churches and community organizations to serve children, asylum seekers, ethnic minority families, and elderly residents through Samaritan's Feet's mission of sharing hope, encouragement, and new shoes.
Throughout the week, our team participates in multiple community outreach events, including basketball clinics and shoe distributions for children, serving asylum seekers through local church partnerships, and encouraging ethnic minority elderly populations. These opportunities allow volunteers to build meaningful relationships while demonstrating Christ's love through practical acts of service.
Beyond ministry, the team also experiences the incredible culture and beauty of Hong Kong. Previous itineraries have included worship with local believers, scenic cable car rides, island excursions, visits to Victoria Peak, local markets, and authentic Hong Kong cuisine. These experiences provide valuable insight into the culture while strengthening relationships within the team.
Whether this is your first mission trip or one of many, Hong Kong offers an unforgettable opportunity to grow in your faith, experience a new culture, and be part of what God is doing through Samaritan's Feet. If you're looking for a mission experience that combines meaningful service, authentic relationships, and cultural exploration, we'd love for you to join us on our next Hong Kong mission trip.

My name is Paul Redd, PhD, and for more than 20 years I have had the privilege of leading teams, developing people, and building programs that create lasting impact. My leadership journey has taken me across 168 countries and counting, serving as an international development leader, program manager, educator, and nonprofit executive. I love leading because great leadership is not about position—it is about serving others, building trust, and helping people discover their purpose and potential. Mission work is deeply personal to me because I have seen firsthand how one act of service can change the trajectory of a child, a family, or an entire community. Throughout my career, I have led global teams, managed complex humanitarian initiatives, and built partnerships that bring hope where it is needed most. The kind of leader I strive to be is one who leads with humility, vision, and courage—someone willing to serve first, listen well, and empower others to lead beside me. Whether in Charlotte or across the world, my goal is to build people, strengthen communities, and leave every place better than I found it.

Justen serves as the National Coordinator for Samaritan's Feet Hong Kong and has been faithfully involved with the ministry since participating on his first Samaritan's Feet mission trip to the Philippines in 2015. Since then, he has served on additional international mission trips, including Greece, and has returned to lead a Samaritan's Feet team back to the Philippines. Driven by a passion for serving others, Justen and a dedicated group of local volunteers established the Samaritan's Feet Hong Kong chapter, which now serves children, families, asylum seekers, and underserved communities throughout Hong Kong. His leadership, local knowledge, and heart for ministry have made him a trusted partner in creating meaningful opportunities for volunteers to share hope and compassion through service.
Samaritan's Feet International is a 501c3 humanitarian aid organization. Our mission is to serve and inspire hope in children by providing new, proper fitting shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of global education and economic opportunities.
