After breakfast departure toward Konorchek canyon which located in a distance of about 45 km from Chon-Kemin along the Bishkek-Issyk-Kul highway in the Boom gorge.

Konorchek canyons consist of red paleogene sandstone. They resemble the ruins of ancient cities, castles, modern skyscrapers. The length of Konorchek canyons is about 200 km, so it is not possible to inspect them all at once. Canyons have such romantic names as "Skyscraper", "Bobsleigh", "Great Canyon". Their height reaches 400-500 meters, they formed several million years under the influence of water and wind, gradually forming a plateau into giant stone columns. An interesting sight of the canyon is the "dry waterfall", which is the remains of a waterfall that flowed here many years ago. If you believe in local folklore, it emits a "black tear" every year. 

For lunch you will have lunch boxes to have a picnic in the area.
After canyons visit, you will start to return to Bishkek. On the way back you will visit Burana Tower, which is today the heritage of UNESCO and Kyrgyzstan as one of the Great Silk Road sight. Burana itself is a tower-minaret, was built in the 10th-12th centuries under the Karakhanids. You will have an unforgettable excursion in the entire complex territory, visiting the museum and a panoramic view from the Tower itself. Concerning the tower, you will also learn some legends regarding the meaning of the symbols on the walls and stone monuments around the area. In addition to the tower, you will also be able to see the balbals (stone gravers) that are located around and were created by the ancient Turkic tribes. This whole trip around the territory will help you to move into the atmosphere of the 12th century and see firsthand the most ancient artefacts. 

After the visit, a driver will drop off you to Bishkek at agreed place. End of the tour!
