Experience the Atacama Desert in a unique way with an exciting horseback riding adventure through some of the most stunning landscapes surrounding San Pedro de Atacama. Over the course of approximately two hours, you will traverse ancient trails winding through the Salt Mountains, Dinosaur Valley, Catarpe Ravine, and Chulacao Canyon, taking in breathtaking geological formations and panoramic desert views.

14:00 – We will meet our guide to prepare for the activity. You will receive a brief overview of the route, safety recommendations, and basic horseback riding instructions.

We will start the route near San Pedro de Atacama, heading toward the impressive Salt Mountains. Along the way, we will admire the contrasting colors, rock formations, and the vastness of the desert landscape.

We will continue to Dinosaur Valley, an area characterized by unique geological formations and remnants that offer insight into the region's natural history.

The route continues to Catarpe Ravine, where massive canyons and cliffs create a spectacular landscape. Our guide will share information about the area's natural and geological features.

We will venture into Chulacao Canyon, an impressive formation shaped over thousands of years by natural erosion processes. Its rock walls and scenery offer a unique perspective of the desert.

After approximately two hours of horseback riding, the activity concludes, and we will head back to San Pedro de Atacama.
