About this trip

Discover one of the most stunning lagoons in the Cordillera Blanca with our excursion to Laguna 69 from Huaraz. Surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and intense turquoise waters, this experience takes you through unique natural landscapes within Huascarán National Park.

Departure from Huaraz

5:00 a.m. – We will pick up passengers from their accommodations in Huaraz to begin the journey north, heading toward Huascarán National Park.

Yungay and the route to Cebollapampa

We will continue the journey toward the province of Yungay, gradually entering Huascarán National Park.

Breakfast route

We will stop in the Cebollapampa area for a light breakfast and to prepare before starting the hike.

First stop: Chinancocha Lagoon

Before reaching the trek's starting point, we will visit the beautiful Chinancocha Lagoon, located in the Llanganuco Valley.

We will have approximately 5 minutes to take photos and enjoy the panoramic view of its turquoise waters and snow-capped mountains.

Start of the trek to Laguna 69

From Cebollapampa, we begin the hike to one of the most famous lagoons in the Cordillera Blanca.

The trek takes approximately:

  • 3 hours for the hike up.

  • Free time to enjoy the lagoon and take photos.

  • 2 hours for the hike down.

Arrival at Laguna 69

Upon arrival, we find a stunning turquoise lagoon surrounded by snow-capped mountains—a perfect setting for photos and connecting with nature.

We will have time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings.

Return to Cebollapampa

We begin the descent along the same trail, returning to the starting point.

Return to Huaraz

We board our tourist transport to begin the return journey to Huaraz.

Arrival in Huaraz

Approx. 06:00 p.m. – End of the tour and return transfer to the city of Huaraz.
