We had an unforgettable trip to Cusco with four families, and our tour guide, David, truly became an extended part of our family. The kids adored him, and he took care of each person’s needs with so much attention and kindness. We packed our days with incredible activities — Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Cusco city tour, Sacred Valley, local markets, and of course enjoying all the delicious Peruvian food! Through it all, David made every moment smooth, fun, and memorable. From airport pickup to drop-off, he was always right there with us. He helped us communicate with food orders, checked on everyone at high altitudes, encouraged us when things got challenging, and always had great alternate options ready. My kids constantly wanted to stay with him because he’s not only super knowledgeable but also patient, fun, and full of fascinating stories. David even guided us through local market shopping, showing us the best places and helping us find exactly what we needed. Every accommodation, every detail — he made sure it was perfect. We planned this trip eight months in advance with regular check-ins, and everything was executed flawlessly. We travelled as a group of 14 and had an excellent experience with our travel guide, David. They were incredibly flexible, punctual and patient, especially with our group that included kids of different ages. He answered all our questions thoroughly and shared fascinating history throughout the trip. We also appreciated the great food recommendations, along with helpful dos and don’ts. Communication was easy and fast from the first contact with David, he was already waiting us at the airport, he did a briefing about the tour and explained us more about the city. Next day, Sandro was our tour guide to sacred valley and Machu Picchu, he is very kind, emphatic and knowledgeable, even my husband who had been previously there, enjoy the tour with full perspective. Drivers were very professional and vehicles were clean and comfortable. Besides all nice people at Andean Path, what I appreciate more is they care about communities helping children, this is very important for a sustainable tourism.
