About this trip

Hudson Theatre Up Close Virtual Tour

Broadway shows are not playing but that doesn’t mean we can’t EXPERIENCE Broadway! This NEW program, from Broadway Up Close, brings Broadway right into the comfort of your home!

Take a virtual journey back in time with our Green Team Guides to 1903 to get a rare look at Broadway’s oldest theater: The Hudson. For over 100 years the theater's walls have witnessed tragedy, gangsters, and legends of pop culture, music, and Broadway who created iconic moments amid the glow of Louis Comfort Tiffany's original lighting. Featuring rarely seen photos and videos, and a few trivia questions along the way, this tour will help fill the theatrical void in the world until we're allowed to step inside the Hudson Theatre once again!

How Does It Work?

Using Zoom, guests will participate in a live, interactive experience featuring signature stories and rare photos.  During the experience, you'll answer trivia questions, polls, and a be part of a live chat conversation all woven together to seamlessly bring Broadway alive in your living room!

Once you register, you will receive a secure Zoom link to access the event at "curtain time." Only 1 ticket needed per device (a household can watch on one or multiple devices).

I really enjoyed this virtual tour of Broadway. The guide was more than entertaining and I learned so much about Broadway Beginnings , the lives of the performers and the theaters themselves. It was a great escape from all of the stress of the day and even though it was virtual, the host was very interactive and the other participants were fun. i will be signing up for the next two in the series and can't wait to do the tour in person. It really triggered my wanderlust and made me homesick for NYC.
