Overview
About your trip
We will spend 6 full days searching for humpbacks whales. Every day is different, some days we may encounter mother and calf, singers, juveniles playing among other spectacular moments.
Our small groups allow you to have more intimate and unique encounters. This also increases the chance of duration in the water.
*Final destination will be disclosed once trip is secured with a deposit.
Prerequisites & Recommendations
- Every participant must be fit for swimming and snorkeling.
- NO scuba certification required.
- Divers and non-divers alike.
- Expect to spend long hours on boats.
- Snorkeling is done in the open ocean, we recommend to bring good fins, a snorkel and a mask.
What's included
Accommodation
8 days/7 nights of accommodation on double occupancy
Activity
6 days of snorkeling with humpback whales
Meals
Breakfast, light lunch onboard, and dinner are included.
Captain & guide
A local captain and professional guide + Nomad Diving staff members will be onboard for expedition.
Transfers
Airport pick-up and drop-off is included as well as transfers to the marina.
What's not included
Airfare
Airfare is not included. Cost for domestic flights approx. $600.00 USD roundtrip.
Beverages
Beverages are not included during the stay.
Gratuities
Suggested gratuity is $100-200 USD per person.
Insurance
Insurance is mandatory. We suggest DAN or Dive Assure.
Extra Hotel Nights
Any hotel nights not specified on the itinerary are not included.

Day 1
Arrival and check-in at hotel
Fly from Tahiti to final destination for the whales.
Transportation will be ready to pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel.
You will have time in the afternoon to settle in and we will have dinner and briefing to prepare for the next days.
NOTE: First day of your selected date.
Day 2-7
Offshore Safari
We will have early breakfast at hotel and transfer to the marina afterwards. We’ll spend between 6-8 hours at sea every day, and have lunch on the boat.(Weather permitting)
We will have an experienced captain and crew to search for the whales.
Day 8
Departure
Early breakfast before local flight back to Tahiti.
Arrive in Tahiti and proceed to your final destination.
