I’m Not Fine” is a six-day, five-night retreat for women in their forties plus, built directly from the research and stories behind I’m Not Fine. Thanks for Asking.
Over six days, hosted by co-authors Rachael Gass and Andie Herbert, the retreat moves through the body, the emotional weight of this stage of life, identity, and purpose — grounded throughout in Be Kind Lyfe’s philosophy that real kindness means honesty, not performance. The goal isn’t a nice week. It’s a room of women who leave more themselves than they arrived.

A simple, radical ask: nobody has to say "fine." We spend the day dropping the performance most of us have been running on for decades, together. Visit the nearby St. Herman’s Cave and Inland Blue Hole to enjoy hiking, caving, and swimming in a single adventure.
The real science on perimenopause, strength, sex, and sleep in this decade — followed by rest that's protected, not just scheduled around. Exploring what fuels, you and what drains you. We will also explore the spectacular Barton Creek Cave via a canoe! You will view the impressive cave formations from aboard your canoe as you slowly paddle through the cave passage.
A day for the anxiety, the mood shifts, and the "am I losing my mind" feeling nobody warns you about — what’s chemistry, what’s circumstance, and what helps. Free time on property, sitting with quiet time, or indulging in a massage. We’ll also enjoy a Soursop Tasting, experiencing this locally grown Belizean fruit.
Identity and courage work that doesn't stay seated doing one small thing. It’s about looking at the what ifs. No limits on the possibilities. This day includes off the resort exploring Xunantunich Mayan Temples for immense perspective of history and ability, wrapping up the adventure making Mayan Chocolate.
We close by building something that lasts: real connection with the women in this room, and one concrete first step to carry home.
