After breakfast we shall discover one of the most beautiful of Italy's cities, as well as one of the most important economic centers in the country. For centuries the heart of the Kingdom of Savoy, Turin was the theatre, the engine of Italian unification and was, initially, the Capital of the Kingdom of Italy.

In the morning a 2-hour private walking tour of Turin, the “little Paris” as is nicknamed, admiring most beautiful Baroque Piazzas such as Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Carignano and Piazza Carlo Alberto. You will travel back in time to the 1600s and the 1700s, when Turin became the capital of the Duchy of Savoy (later turned into a Kingdom) and started an architectural revolution that turned it from an ancient medieval village into a modern Baroque capital, the Savoy Residences.

In the afternoon a 3-hour private chocowine tour in Turin to discover historic coffee houses that look exactly as they did two centuries ago when intellectuals met there to drink “Bicerin”, an elegant blend of chocolate, coffee and whipped cream. Sitting in historic Cafés, listening to stories of love, passion, intrigues, eating cakes, our famous pasticcini, will reveal you something about our way of life. Turin is also the home of chocolate. “Gianduiotto” will make you feel good. The tour continues with another star of our local cuisine: Vermouth. An aromatic wine as well as the synonym of aperitivo. We will see the historical palace where Antonio Benedetto Carpano invented vermouth in 1786 and several variations by others since then. Still today, it is possible to taste the original Carpano vermouth and feel the typical atmosphere of a real Aperitivo in Turin.

After breakfast our trip’s first stop is a masterpiece of piedmontese romanic style: Santa Maria of Vezzolano to admire a monumental complex of one of the 8 Romanesque churches in Piedmont, immersed in the Monferrato countryside. 

We will then continue to Cocconato d’Asti, for a cooking lesson with the chef that will end with a typical lunch. The  products you can taste are: Robiola di Cocconato, a soft cow's milk cheese, cooked and raw salami, but also the typical Cocconato raw ham, whose seasoning benefits from the particular microclimate, all these delicacies combined with local wines: Barbera del Monferrato and Barbera d'Asti or Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Freisa. In 2019 Cocconato has been nominated as one of the most beautiful  minor urban center (borgo)  in Italy due to its historical and cultural interest. 

In the afternoon we will leave for the Langhe region, towards Barbaresco, to plunge into the atmosphere of the Unesco Heritage vineyards.

After breakfast we will visit the beautiful cathedrals of wine in Canelli, the capital of sparkling wine and around the Gancia Castle that dominates the old city the signs of the most famous producers stand out. The historic cellars dug into the hill, and we will indulge in a tasting of Barbera, Moscato and Metodo Classico sparkling.

We will then stop at a goat cheese producer in Moasca, to tasting lunch of the local products and visit the farm and meet the animals. 

We will then continue to Acqui Terme, tucked away in the heart of northern Italy’s Piedmont region, a bustling spa town located in a strategic position, between main Northern cities and the Ligurian Riviera, established as an important thermal centre in Roman times, surrounded by breathtaking vineyards and landscapes that were awarded in 2014 as a Unesco World Heritage Site. We will visit the “Bollente”, the thermal fountain from which water flows at 74.5 degrees centigrade, in the very center of town.

Today will be dedicated to the beauty of the iconic landscapes of the Langhe and the characteristic villages, with names often famous in the world but still endowed with an authentic and 'Piedmontese' soul: Barolo, La Morra, Grinzane Cavour.

Barolo is known above all for its beauty, and incarnates the essence of its most nobile of Piedmontese wines. Tucked into the hills, Barolo was a Medieval borgo dominated by the Castello Falletti, seat of the Comune’s Enoteca.

At La Morra can be admired the vineyards and some precious elements of Piedmontese Baroque. The Chapel of Barolo stands out for its colours among the vineyards. Tasting lunch.

Another must is the castle in Grinzane Cavour, residence of Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, today it hosts the Regional Enoteca (Winery) and the Oenological Museum.

In the late afternoon we will return to the hotel, with eyes full of beauty, and happy for these days spent in the Monferrato and Langhe area!

In the morning, after the breakfast, we’ll discover the history and secrets of the unmistakable taste of the Nocciola Piemonte IGP. A guided tour of a small farm in Alta Langa, from hazelnut grove to the production of choice sweets, learning some of the secrets of so intense and lingering a flavour. A tasting rounds off the tour with a delicious experience to cherish.

Then we continue with the chocolate experience in an original, historic patisserie with the refined atmosphere to taste the delicately balanced cocoa blends narrated by expert confectioners whose passion and tireless research and guiding the visitors through the tasting of strictly choice chocolate.

In the afternoon it’s time to leave to Camogli, an exquisite minor urban center (borgo) located on the west side of the peninsula of Portofino, with a view on the Gulf of Paradise (on the Italian Rivera di Levante) and one of the largest areas of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino, and a part of the Portofino Marine Protected Area.

It is characterized by highly-stacked and vivaciously-painted houses, part of a magnificent natural setting that has enchanted tourists the world over, for centuries. It is the calling for those wanting to enjoy a mix of relaxation, culture, seaside fun and great food.

After you arrive at your boutique hotel, enjoy a welcome drink and settle in.

We will take you to discover one of the most famous and romantic parts of our coast “The Italian Riviera” directly at your hotel with a luxury vehicle. During your drive your English speaking driver, expert of the area will give you an introduction and useful advices on the things to do.

Just before, on the winding road that arrives in Portofino, you will find the enchanting town of Santa Margherita Ligure, another jewel of the Ligurian coast, with a tourist port and numerous luxury hotels, a seaside promenade and an area of small shops where you can enjoy a good cappuccino,  go hunting for souvenirs or buy local food delights such as the famous “Pesto alla Genovese” made with basil and oil of the province. Santa Margherita is an exquisite tourist destination to enjoy the view of the Mediterranean Sea and its traditional hospitality.

The Portofino Marine, its enchanting little port and its small square surrounded by what were once the fishermen's houses, is located at the end tip of a small steep peninsula covered with Italian Villas and Luxury Hotels, frequented by the high society and celebrity visitors, immersed in the mediterranean pine forest, while the Portofino harbour hosts hundreds of luxury boats and yachts moored in the shade of the oak and pine wood during the summer period. You will visit the village and will have time for shopping in Portofino that is surely interesting due to the many nice small boutiques, around the small marina, where to find luxury high end fashion boutiques and unique local shops.

In the afternoon, return to Camogli.

Private tour of Cinque Terre. From Camogli we reach the harbour of Rapallo (or Santa Margherita Ligure) to enjoy a slow navigation visit from the sea to the villages of Sestri Levante, Riva Trigoso , Moneglia, Framura, Bonassola e Levanto.

Arrival at the Cinque Terre and visit from the sea of the villages of Riomaggiore , Manarola e Corniglia. In Vernazza is possible go ashore for a simple visit or for lunch in the characteristic restaurants by the sea, visit from the sea of the village of Monterosso and then return.

In addition to seeing the most beautiful resorts that engulfs the Ligurian Riviera you can experience shadowing pods of dolphins you can admire the beauty of the unspoiled nature of the coast and the splendid residences overlooking the sea, often linked to anecdotes and curiosities that will be told by your guide.
