Your first three days of photography workshops in Tuscany will focus on the region around the city of Siena. Grab your camera and set off for a wonderful photography adventure in the cypress-scented hills of Tuscany.

Today you will have the chance to photograph medieval places such as the San Galgano Abbey, where you will encounter the gothic ruins of a 13th-century monastery. 

Wake up refreshed this morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and set out for another wonderful day with your camera in the hills of Tuscany. 

Today's agenda might include a journey along one of Tuscany's most picturesque roads, Via Lauretana. You could visit charming hill towns such as Asciano and La Pievina, or spend some time exploring the striking red brick architecture of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore.

Venture to a different part of Tuscany today and fall in love with the Val d'Orcia. Sunflower-coverd hillsides and rolling vineyards will greet you as you make your way into the heart of this breathtaking region. 

Some of Italy's most renowned wines come from the Val d'Orcia, including the famous vintages of Brunello. Venture to a winery and give your camera a little rest while you taste exquisite Italian wines.

Continue your exploration of the Val d'Orcia today. After breakfast at your hotel, set out an excursion to discover the delightful villages of this acclaimed area. 

You may have heard of Montepulciano, a hilltop village that is home to some of Italy's most famous wines. This enchanting town features an array of photogenic sights, such as the Duomo, the Torre di Pulcinella clock tower, and the 14th century Palazzo Comunale.  

During your Tuscan adventure, you will have the chance to spend some time at Bagno Vignoni. This peaceful little Italian village is home to a dazzling hot spring. Instead of the main town square, this charming medieval village surrounds a 49-meter pool fed by the warm waters of an underground spring. Spend some time taking pictures here, but note that this pool is off-limits for swimming. However, after you've filled your memory card, put your camera away and venture down to the Parco Dei Mulini, where you can soak in healing hot springs.

Make the most of your last full day in Tuscany by visiting some of the secret treasures of this picturesque region. 

Today's journey might take you to San Quirico d'Orcia, an enchanting medieval village surrounded by an ancient city wall. You could also take the opportunity to visit the tiny Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta, a serene little stone chapel set in the middle of a Tuscan valley on the road between San Quirico and Pienza.

Your 9-day Tuscan photography adventure comes to an end today. After checking out of your hotel in Siena, drive to the airport in Florence to return your rental car. We hope you have had an unforgettable experience in Italy, and wish you pleasant travels as you make your way back home.
