      About this trip

A slow-paced, small group tour through Iceland… There’s so much to do and see in Iceland that it’s tough to fit it all in one trip. Lots of fast-paced tours cram everything into 5 short days, but we take our time and travel at a slow pace along the famous Ring Road in 11 days which means no rushing in and out of the bus with only 10 minutes to take a photo at every stop. Our small group size also allows us to experience some of Iceland’s less-traveled spots:

      • Hot Springs: In addition to the must-see Blue Lagoon, cleanse your body & soul in these less crowded hot springs.

      • Secret Iceberg Lagoon: Take a zodiac to a “hidden” iceberg lagoon where it’ll be just you and the towering masses of ice, up close and personal!

      • Beer spa & jacuzzi: Soak in wooden, beer-filled jacuzzis overlooking breathtaking mountain ranges all while sipping on your favorite glass of lager.

Enlightening & memorable trip! I took away so much knowledge on the culture of Vietnam & Cambodia. The people, food, history, economy and historical sites. Temples in Cambodia were fabulous and worth every minute we spent there, regardless of the Spring heat. Our guides were fabulous and very knowledgeable. Loan in Vietnam was so accommodating and helpful on additional things to do on free time. And Dee taught me so much about the Cambodian family, food in restaurants where young Cambodians are learning to develop their talents and skills, ancient Buddhist temples, and traditional Cambodian dance. I've taken away so many memories. I am so grateful for this trip; it's been on my bucket list since COVID. Accommodations were beyond my expectations! I would highly recommend.

This trip far exceeded my expectations. I expected to be spending the daytime hours. Just waiting for the lights at night. This trip was worth it just for the daytime excursions. The lights were amazing. The company was great and our leader was amazing. Thank you globe drifters. I will be looking for my third trip with you

Noteworthy countries to visit, however, the 4 flights (3 domestic & 1 international) are a bit too much for the duration of this trip e.g., given the distance between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh -- travel by minibus would have been a better option (also, providing a chance to visit a few villages along the way). The local guides knowledge-base were not consistent throughout this trip and definitely could be improved.

A magical trip of a lifetime with a great tour guide, Marvil, and group of people. The activities were so much fun; the Aurora cabin was special & food was really good—even the reindeer! And the best part….we saw the Northern Lights 2 nights! 🥰
