Between daily morning Hatha yoga and evening relaxing practice, we will bask in the natural haven that is Locanda del Gallo, a boutique hotel set in the middle of rolling Umbrian hills surrounded by gardens and quintessential Italian countryside beauty. The yoga studio is full of light and looks over the verdant landscape. We will relax, stretch, center, ground, breathe and renew.
We will eat wonderful, organic, personal chef created local cuisine, swim in the salt water pool, stroll a country path, visit a winery, shop the famous Gubbio markets and learn to cook a sumptuous Italian meal.
There will be plenty of time to read, wander, explore, have a massage, or just "be."
This week long immersive combination of yoga, relaxation practice, and education combined with the tranquil surrounding and chosen experiences, will restore balance to your body and mind. We want to prepare you for an at home practice that continues your journey toward greater health and well-being.

There is no A/C at Locanda. It is very airy and guests stay comfortably throughout the summer months.

Aimee is an E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor with over 2500 hours of teaching, a HeartMath Certified Coach/Mentor and current student of the Massachusetts General Hospital PART Program. She works in five areas including breath awareness, relaxation, yoga, mindfulness, and cardiac coherence. Aimee is dedicated to teaching research-proven mind/body practices and continues to study the space where science meets the wellness discipline.

Brienne is a Wilderness First Responder and Mindful Outdoor Guide participant, a lover of all things hiking and nature. She is a firm believer and student of the extreme benefits of nature experiences for well-being and to reverse the current depleting culture of "nature deficit disorder." She has worked in leadership, management, event coordination and administration for 25 years.
Brienne researches retreat venues and opportunities in depth and at great length to optimize the planning and immersive benefits of a 5-7 day natural yoga/wellness and learning experience.
