We had an excellent trip to Argentina. It was my third time and my husband's first visit. All of our transfers were seamless, and every person we interacted with was pleasant and informative. 10/10 recommend.
The only day that we ran into issues was in El Chalten. We had a boat tour at Lago del Desierto. When we were picked up, the activity coordinator, Martina (?) said that we were only booked for one person to go. However, there were two of us the entire trip (our HONEYMOON, my husband and I). She insisted that she couldn't take both of us because there wasn't enough room in the bus. I asked that she call her boss, my travel agent, whomever, because we were both going to go. We did eventually go on the bus. She had a friend coming along for the day who took up a bus seat. That friend was able to ride along with their boss, as apparently, that friend works at the pier. I just found this to be incredibly unprofessional, as we had clearly booked a trip for TWO people. This girl went on to say how she was not a tour guide but rather an activity coordinator and wouldn't be talking up front like a tour guide, etc. We hiked and enjoyed our visit to the Vespigianmi glacier. However, we then had to wait HOURS for the bus to pick us up while the same tour guides took another group out. This easily could have been a half-day excursion, but they make you wait around all day to be picked up.
We had a terrible experience with Say Hueque. They were disorganized,, and lacked good communication. Details were changed last minute, we felt we were taken advantage of in many situations. I will likely never use an agency again due to the experience with Say Hueque.
We had a great time. Everything was taken care of and when there were any problems they were immediately addressed and taken care of. They made this the trip of a lifetime for my wife and I.
We did have a great time. Everything went very smoothly. All of the people we encountered, from the van drivers to the hotel personnel were very friendly and accommodating.
However, I would like to mention one person who really stood out for her friendliness, helpfulness and wonderful demeanor. That person was Laura Kich. I felt like I was with one of my own cousins. She was always looking out for us and made sure everything was just right! I can not say enough good things about her. Next time I travel- I want to bring her with me wherever I go.
