About your trip

1, 2, or 3 Days at Iguazu Falls Traveling from Buenos Aires

Iguazu Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, is an unmissable getaway from Buenos Aires. Here’s how to make the most of your visit—whether you have one, two, or three days.

1 Day: Express Experience in the Argentine Park

The most efficient option is to take the first flight in the morning from Buenos Aires to Iguazu and return on the last flight of the day. A local guide will meet you and handle transfers and logistics. During the day, you’ll visit the most iconic spots on the Argentine side, including panoramic viewpoints and the famous Devil’s Throat balcony.
It’s an intense day, but absolutely doable and highly recommended if you have limited time.

2 Days: Both Parks and Overnight in Iguazu

With two days, you can visit the Brazilian park on the first day (ideal for panoramic views), spend the night in Iguazu, and dedicate the second day to the Argentine park before flying back to Buenos Aires in the afternoon.
This option allows a more relaxed pace and the chance to enjoy both perspectives.

3 Days: Complete and Relaxed Experience

The most comfortable alternative is to spend three days and two nights.
On day one, you arrive and settle into your hotel at your preferred schedule.
On day two, visit the Brazilian park and, if you wish, add a city tour or visit a small semi-precious stone mine.
On day three, explore the Argentine park and return to Buenos Aires after 6 p.m.

Useful Tips & Details

  • The Brazilian park offers unique panoramic views and requires crossing the border (an electronic visa for Brazil is needed).

  • The Argentine park lets you get close to the falls and, if you want, add the “Great Aventura” boat tour (optional and not for everyone).

  • Iguazu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to lush subtropical flora and fauna.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, bringing a light rain jacket, applying insect repellent, and packing a camera.
