The classic Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu is one of the most famous treks in South America. Mixing history, wildlife and spectacular scenery, adventure is an unforgettable experience, with a final destination -- Machu Picchu itself -- that ranks among the world’s most impressive archaeological sites. 

The classic Inca Trail is only about 42 km (26 miles) long, but it goes up and down and along mountains, rising up through three mountain passes, and generally takes a circular route through the tricky terrain of the region. That makes it a more strenuous 42 km than most, but you do not need prior multi-day hiking experience to complete this trek. Guided by Valencia Travel Group, you will be led through the Trek by professional guides, porters and talented cooks. 

In addition to completing the Inca Trail, this trip includes additional excursions to the Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain. 

Important Information (please read before booking):

- You must arrive/land for this trip to Cusco Airport (CUZ) on Friday, June 13th, 2025 and your departing flight may leave any time on Saturday, June 21st, 2025. 

- Your trip includes airport transfers from CUZ to your hotel. Flights are not included in this price. We highly recommend when selecting flights that you ensure ample time to catch connecting flights to ensure there are no missed flights due to delays. 

- Travel insurance is not included with registration, but Ma'wa Collective STRONGLY urges every participant to obtain travel insurance.

Upon arrival in Cusco a representative of Valencia Travel Cusco will be waiting at the airport for you and pick you up in our private transport and take you to your hotel where you will spend the night.
