Our second day we will be exploring the beautiful city of Antigua, you'll get familiarized with the culture, the colors, and cuisine. We will take you on a historical tour, as Antigua is packed with tons of history! We will even learn about the Mayan weaving, and the intricacies of the huiplil. 

On Day 3 we will head to Lake Atitlan, we'll enjoy breakfast and then hit the road!

We will explore all things about cacao! We will start our day with a tour of a cacao farm. We will learn about the importance of cacao to the Mayan people, how it's grown, harvested, and prepare. 

We will follow with our first cacao ceremony of the trip! 

Prepare to immerse yourself in the beauty of Lake Atitlan! We will spend our day exploring the different pueblos. This day we will have a hike, see amazing art, connect with the local communities, and more! Make sure you walking shoes are ready! 

We will hit the road after breakfast and make our way to Guatemala City. The next day we will be catching an early flight to Flores! 

This day is for the early risers! We are going to hop on a 6am flight and land in Flores by 7am. We will catch the shuttle to Tikal, and our hotel! You'll have time explore the land, check out the museum or relax. 

This day falls on the day of the Shaman in Mayan astrology. Surrounded in the beauty and magic of Tikal, we will explore Tikal the ancient Mayan ruins. We will be in ceremony, honoring the land, giving offerings to the ancestors of the land. This day will be sacred and special. 

We will head to Flores and explore this very neat island! You'll also get to do some shopping and hang out. We will have our last dinner together, where we will reflect, share, and connect with each other prior to heading onto our next adventures.
