Join Bre and Flo in Sonoma for a wonderful 3-day outdoor yoga retreat on a local farm, converted into the most amazing retreat center with 5-star yurts, glamping style tents, and gourmet vegetarian meals! Practice outdoor yoga twice a day on a beautiful deck overlooking nature, relax with guided meditations, attend breakout sessions on arm balances and myofascial release, and enjoy local handcrafted seed to service meals, moderate hiking trails, campfire gatherings, and lots of positive energy and smiles from our wonderful like-minded yogis and friends. Check out the venue and food photos here!
The yoga classes will be a vinyasa (linking movement with the breath, moving your body through both power and restorative poses), as well as yin (gentle stretching with longer holds - all poses on the ground). The creatively-sequenced classes will be theme-based and balanced and will incorporate pranayama breath work, strengthening, stretching, energizing, and meditation. You will experience a safe and nurturing practice, leaving you feeling relaxed yet energized.
rests on 108 acres of vital Sonoma coast nature. Its diverse landscape provides the most exquisite and magical experience of raw and cultivated beauty. From the redwood, fir and oak forests, to their thoughtfully designed circle gardens. Ocean view ridge-tops overlook their colorful and hidden creek beds; The Lotus Feed Retreat Center is blessed with a full palette of wonder.
Start your day with a pond side meditation and spend your day meandering through the medicinal herb gardens. Hike trails through fern groves or meander along the fresh water springs. Cultivate a relationship with the earth and lend a hand in the organic gardens harvesting the fruits and labor of the land to feast for the Farm To Table Communal Feast. End your day with a sunset yoga practice under the passion flower canopy and the rest of you evening can be spent stargazing by the fire pit.
The Lotus Feed has thoughtfully crafted the native land into a perfect classroom to dive into wild edibles and medicinals. The cultivated gardens and structures present learning experiences in permaculture and the peace and energy of the land provide a backdrop for transformation, learning and evolution. Farm to table meals will be harvested from the stunning circle garden and prepared in the outdoor pizza oven imported from Italy.
From luxury private yurts with vintage clawfoot bathtubs, to glamping in a teepee, the center is designed for any budget and all levels of comfort. Most of the accommodations are shared baths meaning that the restrooms are outside of the dwellings. There are several lux “outhouses” all with electricity and running water. One of the most special experiences at the Lotus Feed Center is the outdoor showers. They are built around a gorgeous California Bay tree and showers take place under the canopy. All tents are cozy and thoughtfully decorated and have beds ranging from doubles to twins.
