Invigorate: to give life and energy to.
What do you desire to give your life and energy to?
For one week I invite you to journey with me deep into the remote tropical rainforest of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
A place where wildness has reigned untampered with since its birth. In this setting of lush, verdant raw beauty we will slow down and simplify.
We will revitalize our physical bodies through nourishing movement, cuisine, and jungle bathing.
This invigorating jungle setting will be our backdrop as we traverse within ourselves to connect deeper than ever before and begin to Expand into more of our untapped potential.
Ritual, ceremony, and facilitated workshops will be woven into the fabric of our days together.
Reverence, wonder, and gratitude will be our guiding lights as we shed the constrictive layers that typically bind us, liberating the natural, wild, and authentic beings we hold within.
Our retreat lodge is located in an extremely remote part of Costa Rica - the Osa Peninsula. And even within the Osa Peninsula, it is STILL remote! It's situated near one of the entrances to the world-renowned Corcovado National Park. In order to get there, we will take a private charter flight from San Jose airport to the airstrip nearest the retreat center in Carate.
The private charter flight is included in the price of the retreat.
Logistically, this is how the transportation will go.
Saturday, March 12th: everyone will fly into San Jose and make their way to our first hotel (you will get all the details after signing up). We will sleep in this quaint bed and breakfast. What time you arrive to the bed and breakfast is entirely up to you.
Sunday, March 13th: we will wake up early and get on our private flight to the Osa Peninsula. The flight is only an hour, and features incredible views the entire way - you'll see almost all of Costa Rica from the air! This is a really incredible experience in-and-of-itself. Once we land, the lodge will have a vehicle waiting to pick us up and we will drive 15 minutes.
Once we arrive, we will get settled, have some breakfast, and then make our way to our opening ceremony.
The rest of the week will be spent at the lodge and no more transportation logistics will occur.
Saturday, March 19th: our final morning together. We will wake up early, have some breakfast, and then hop on our private charter flight back to San Jose airport. This is also included in the price of your retreat package.
From there you can either fly home or stay in Costa Rica! If you'd like to stay and continue traveling, feel free to chat with Zoë as she can offer some suggestions of where you might visit next!
To summarize: you will want to arrive to the bed and breakfast in San Jose no later than the evening of Saturday, March 12th.
If you are heading home on Saturday, March 19th, you'll want to book your return flight from San Jose airport (to wherever you live) in the afternoon.
By March 2022, the hope is that almost everyone is vaccinated and life feels a bit more like pre-covid times.
With that being said, this retreat is entirely open-air. From the dining room to the yoga palapa - all of our adventure and experiences are in the open, fresh, and incredibly pure air. (Pura Vida after all).
If you have any specific concerns or questions regarding this retreat and its Covid-19 protocols, please send me an email!

The completely enclosed “nature-lover” tents have two single beds or one double bed, a private bathroom with hot water, electricity, and a balcony overlooking the canopy of the rain forest. Some think the tents have the best view on the property as the majority of them are situated at the top of the hill above the Yoga platform overlooking the coastline.

If you select "single" that means you will have the room to yourself (no roommate).
The hacienda-styled rooms are closer to the main lodge and are fully enclosed. The view is spectacular and the toucans love to visit the neighboring trees in the afternoon. These rooms are spacious colonial-style with private baths. If you select "single" that means you will have the room to yourself (no roommate).
This bungalow room feature one queen-sized bed, a private deck, and a private bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Large windows and a high thatched-palm roof provide for ample air circulation, while walls of white cane add a decorative rustic touch.
One of the really attractive and unique parts of the bungalow is the lush private garden just off the shower, smoothing the transition to the rainforest outside, yet keeping it all protected with a handcrafted stone wall.

Each day of the retreat has a specific theme, and the day's elements will be related to that theme. Day 2 will be FLOW, a day of exploring how to be utterly present within ourselves and our surroundings such that we get lost in the bliss of this state.
8 am - Our day will begin with yoga, breathwork, and meditation in the yoga palapa
9:30 am - Post-yoga we will gather together for our morning Cacao Ritual
9:40 am - Breakfast together
10:40 am - 12:40 Expansion Experience: FLOW
1 pm - Lunch together
2 pm - afternoon open FLOW time (choose your adventure or siesta, you will have a variety of suggested adventures to choose from, or you can relax at the pool, or do anything else that you desire)
6 pm - Dinner together
7:30 pm - Optional restorative yoga to aid our rest and digest parasympathetic nervous system
Every day will be different, and the timing is subject to change based on the needs and desires of the group, once we arrive. This is an example of how our FLOW day might go :)
