Join the Bogside Rogues & Seamus McGroary on their concert tour around Ireland. Sight-see incredible scenery and quaint towns by day and spend your evenings enjoying amazing performances by and sessions with the Bogside Rogues, Seamus McGroary & local musicians.

Our touring day will generally be from 10A-6P with opportunities to attend the performances of our musical hosts - the Bogside Rogues & Seamus McGroary - and sessions in local pubs. Bring your instrument along and join in the fun! Our later morning starts will allow you to enjoy yourself night & day.

Group flights from Philadelphia are available on this site as add-ons to your tour package.

-Seats are assigned at the airport. Specific seat requests are not guaranteed, nor are you guaranteed to be seated with your travel companions and/or members of your travel party.

-Group seats cannot be upgraded in advance and must be requested or purchased directly from the airline at the airport (extra legroom, preferred location, exit row, etc...)

-Group seats are only offered in Main Cabin Economy.  Premium Economy & Business class upgrades are not available as part of the group.

-No date or gateway deviations permitted.

October 12- arrive Dublin airport at 6:30AM or earlier - we are departing for the tour as soon as the passengers on the group flight clear baggage claim.

Participants of the Main Tour only without the Extension:

October 15- arrive Dublin airport at 6:30AM or earlier - we are departing for the tour as soon as the passengers on the group flight clear baggage claim.

All Participants:

October 22 - depart Dublin Airport any time; there is a complimentary airport transfer for flights departing 9:30AM or later

The tour begins at the Dublin Airport at a time to be determined. 

You can opt to purchase our group air or make your own arrangements.

If you purchase your own air, please note your need to depart the USA on October 11th and arrive at the same time as the group flight or before in order to be join the tour. 

After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Begin your tour of Ireland with a tour of the Jameson distillery, a very authentic and fitting welcome to the Emerald Isle. Continue your travel into Cork, check into your hotel and spend the balance of the day free for independent sightseeing and dining.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT: RIVER LEE HOTEL, CORK or similar

Departing Cork, drive into Blarney, where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence." Following, journey through the Irish countryside into Killarney, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight, you might like to sample one of the many fine dinner venues located within the charming town.

OVERNIGHT: KILLARNEY PLAZA HOTEL, KILLARNEY or similar

Today, travel to Slea Head at the western tip of the peninsula. This excursion will give you excellent views of mountains and coastline and looking over to the Iveragh Peninsula. Then, drive into Dingle town and stop to enjoy some free time to explore the area on your own. Dingle is an area situated below Slievanea Mountain and faces comfortably onto the sheltered harbor. As a market town and fishing port, Dingle has long been well supplied with pubs and opportunities to hear traditional Irish music.

Continue into Limerick and embark on a panoramic tour of the city, which features the sights made famous in Frank McCourt’s biography, “Angela’s Ashes.” Pass the 13thcentury King John's Castle in the center of the city. This imposing fortress with its massive walls and towers has guarded the River Shannon crossing for the past 700 years. Transfer to your hotel in Bunratty, check in and spend some time at leisure to freshen up before tonight’s festivities.

This evening, join in the fun and feasting at the Bunratty Castle. Your medieval-style banquet is served in the Great Hall of the 15th century castle.

OVERNIGHT: BUNRATTY CASTLE HOTEL, BUNRATTY

This morning, visit the Bunratty Folk Park, which comprises a collection of farmhouses from different regions of Ireland. Also, see a 19th century village street with a pub, school, general store and many other buildings where traditional lifestyles and crafts are demonstrated. After your visit, journey to Ennis where you will join the rest of your group at your hotel and check in before beginning your main tour.

Welcome to Dublin! Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Take in beautiful scenic views of Ireland’s landscapes as you travel through historic towns and rolling hills into Ennis, where you will join the rest of your group and enjoy a welcome dinner to kick off the tour!

OVERNIGHT: Old Ground Hotel or similar

This morning, drive along the coast of scenic County Clare and stop to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks. See magical vistas, overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland’s Western coastline. Continue your journey into Galway, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You might like to head into the heart of the city to enjoy an independent bite to eat at a lively local venue or spend some time walking along the picturesque Salthill Promenade, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

OVERNIGHT: GALWAY BAY HOTEL, GALWAY or similar

Leaving Galway, travel through the Connemara region to admire the sweeping views of boglands and misty mountains. As you drive along you will see many sheep that graze freely and tracts of bogland where some people hand-cut peat for home heating. Stop to visit Kylemore Abbey for a tour of the elegant mansion and church, set beside a tranquil lake. Learn of the tales of tragedy, romance and royal visits. Also, walk through the magical Victorian walled garden. Return to your hotel for overnight.

OVERNIGHT: GALWAY BAY HOTEL

Today enjoy scenic driving to view Croagh Patrick, a conical mountain where St Patrick fasted fir 40 days. After, travel through the quaint market town of Ballaghaderreen, home to the impressive Ballaghaderreen Gothic Cathedral with its tall tower and spire visible for miles. Stop by the famous Belleek Pottery to see how skilled craftspeople form and decorate delicate porcelain masterpieces. Continue your journey into Donegal, check into your hotel. Enjoy a local dinner together with the group this evening.

OVERNIGHT: MILL PARK HOTEL, DONEGAL

After breakfast, travel to visit the Slieve League Sea Cliffs, where the highest point reaches 1,972 feet making them the highest in Europe. The cliffs drop straight down to the wild Atlantic waves below and you will see marvelous vistas. While here, enjoy an Irish coffee with your group. Then, journey to a local Tweed Factory to discover how tweed and other fabrics are produced using traditional and modern methods followed by some free time to shop.

OVERNIGHT: MILL PARK HOTEL, DONEGAL

Continue your drive into Derry, check into your hotel and settle into your room. Enjoy an afternoon at liesure browsing, shopping, and sightseeing around the town of Derry. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner & beer tasting together at the Walled City Brewery in Derry.

OVERNIGHT: EBRINGTON HOTEL, DERRY

Departing Derry, enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Ireland’s spectacular scenery as you travel into the bustling city of Dublin. Upon arrival, stop to tour Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness. Transfer to your nearby hotel, check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure for independent sightseeing, shopping, dining, pubs and much more.

OVERNIGHT: CAMDEN COURT HOTEL, DUBLIN

All too soon, your vacation has come to its final day. Transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your flight. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the United States.
