Monday October 6th- Dulles Airport to Dublin

Depart Washington Dulles on Aer Lingus flight 118 to Dublin at 9 pm.  Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service on your overnight flight.

Tuesday, October 7th - Dublin Arrival & Galway

After landing at Dublin Airport, the group will be met by your private driver and tour guide who will escort you to the coach. We will drive west towards Galway and stop to have breakfast at the Johnstown Estate and celebrate Mass with the group. We plan to arrive in the Bohemian City of Galway mid-afternoon for our 2-night stay at the Salthill Hotel overlooking the promenade. . Relax and unwind before meeting your fellow travelers for a group dinner at the hotel.

Wednesday, October 8th - Knock & Galway Bay Cruise

We begin our journey by heading north to Knock in Co. Mayo. On the 21st of August 1879 fifteen people from the village of Knock, witnessed an Apparition of Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, a Lamb and cross on an altar at the gable wall of the Parish Church. Mass will be celebrated upon our arrival in Knock. After lunch we will return to Galway to enjoy a cruise onboard The Corrib Princess which sails onto the beautiful Lough Corrib. Relax before meeting your fellow travelers for a group dinner at the hotel.

Thursday, October 9th - Caherconnel Fort & Sheepdog Trials

We celebrate Mass with the group at Galway Cathedral before driving into The Burren Region of County Clare to explore Caherconnell Fort & Sheepdog trials. The fort was inhabited up to the late 16th century and is excavated annually yielding many treasures which deepens our understanding of the fort. Enjoy the Caherconnell shepherds as they show great skill working with clever collies to provide phenomenal sheep dog demonstrations. We will stop in the quaint village of Adare before arriving late in the afternoon in the bustling town of Tralee for our 3-night stay at the Rose Hotel.The fort was inhabited up to the late 16th century and is excavated annually, yielding many treasures that deepen our understanding of the fort.,

Friday, October 10th - Jaunting Car Ride & Killarney

After breakfast, we will celebrate Mass with the group before exploring the Dingle Peninsula.  We will see beehive-style huts, originally inhabited by 12th-century monks, which overlook the rugged Blasket Islands.  We will stop at the picturesque town of Dingle where you can enjoy some free time before we head back to our hotel in Tralee. Join your fellow travelers for a group dinner at our hotel.

Saturday, October 11th - Cobh (Cove)

After breakfast, we will travel to Cobh (Cove) to celebrate Mass in St. Colman's Cathedral.  The group will visit the Cobh Heritage Centre, which explores life in Ireland through the 18th and 19th centuries, mass emigration, the Great Famine, and prison ships to  Australia.  There is also an exhibition on the history of the RMS Titanic, whose last port of We a return to Tralee for group dinner at our hotel.

Sunday, October 12th - The Irish National Stud

After breakfast we celebrate Mass with the group. We will view the Rock of Cashel, a spectacular group of medieval buildings. We will travel onwards to the National Stud where, after lunch on your own, we will have a private tour around the Stud where some of Ireland’s best racehorses are bred. The site is also home to one of the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe. Arrive in Enfield Co. Meath for our final 2 nights at the Johnstown House Estate. Join your fellow travelers for a group dinner in the hotel tonight.

Monday, October 13th - Explore Dublin

We will celebrate Mass before we drive to Dublin City where we will sight-see on the famous green Hop on Hop off tour bus (included). We’ll visit the Guinness Storehouse where you can pick up the Hop-on-Hop bus and will rendezvous at 3 pm beside Trinity College to take the coach to EPIC Museum for final stop in Dublin before returning to our hotel for a farewell dinner.

Tuesday, October 14th - Safe Travels Home!

Sadly, our adventures come to an end. Our coach driver will get you to Dublin Airport in plenty of time for you to check in for your flight and clear customs and immigration, avoiding the long lines that you can meet when arriving in America. There is ample duty- free shopping at the airport for any last-minute gifts. Thank you for trusting us once again with your vacation and we certainly hope you had a memorable time.
