It was a fantastic experience - the trip of a lifetime. The people were amazing, the food delicious and the experiences absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time during my stay in Sligo. Ciarán & David were great guides, and Michael kept us safe while driving us all over the area. I definitely felt more like a guest visiting friends who know all the best places, rather than a tourist hitting the highlights and running to the next thing. Temple House was beautiful too - the building, the lands, the staff, and the owners (and the dogs, especially my girl Bella) were all fantastic. The trip was by no means a photography workshop; it was a tour of the places and people and stories around Sligo and western Ireland. BUT... Ciarán gave us plenty of photography tips along the way, whether we were shooting with SLRs or simply our camera phones. So everyone came away with great pictures to remember their trip and to show off to friends. We photographed everything from old castle ruins to grand landscapes to more intimate scenes, like a potter at his wheel crafting a beautiful pitcher. I would definitely travel with Ciarán again if time and budget allow.

This was a very special trip. Everyday was an adventure and we saw sights that aren't offered to tourists very often. The Ireland in Focus team were great. The hosts of the Temple House estate made us feel at home".

The Ireland in Focus tour was a ton of fun. I feel like I've come home with a pretty good knowledge and understanding of the history and culture of the Sligo area. We visited a lot of very interesting historic sites and got in-depth explanations of the significance of each. We visited with a potter and a blacksmith for demonstrations of their crafts. There were also a couple of fun surprises in the evenings. The dinners were fit for a king!
