For the golfer an experience on Ireland’s West Coast usually has you arriving at Shannon International Airport, which literally splits the country from the north and the south. Most who travel to Ireland for the first time, are drawn to the big-name courses that line the southwest coast. However, if you were to turn left instead of right out of Shannon and head north towards Galway to Sligo to Donegal and all the way up to Ballyliffin, you will discover some of Ireland’s finest and most economical gems!
