With two days stay in cosmopolitan Dublin you will have the opportunity to visit all the well known places like Trinity College where our famous National treasure the "Book of Kells" is on view, you can also visit Guinness store house and Jameson Distillery. You can also take a day trip to Powerscourt house and garden and the ancient site at Glendalough. You will then spend time in the lush countryside of the North West. There is so much to see there, which we have included on our suggested itinerary below.

Lunch or evening meals
You will be asked at the car hire desk about your car insurance, they will charge you for cover while in Ireland
You can take a bus from the airport to the city and explore all the city has to offer today . Why not take a hop-on-hop-off bus to take you around the city where the guide will point out all the interesting venue's such as Killmainham Jail, Trinity College, Guinness Store house, and so much more. You can spend the evening in the famous Temple bar area. You can then take a bus back to your hotel in Swords

Make your way to Dublin city center and take a day tour to Powerscourt house and gardens and Glendalough day tour. You will visit amazing gardens and landscapes and you will also see ancient Ireland. These places are a must see.
Pick up your car at Dublin airport and make your way to the North West of Ireland. You will learn all about the myths and legends of the North West and you will see the lush green countryside with its breath-taking scenery. You should check out Belevdere House just outside the town of Mullingar in Co West Meath. Then you should make your way to the beautiful Lough Key Forest Park in Co Roscommon where you will see an 11th century castle ruins on an island, you can take walks all around the park and enjoy the history all around this place. If you want to go Zip lining or take a segway you can do it here too. When you leave there you can call into Boyle Abbey which is a must see. It is a 12th century Cistercian Abbey with stone carvings and is rich in history.
You will then make your way to a small, rural, country, family run hotel in South Sligo where you will stay for 4 nights. You will be part of the family while there and you will get to know the locals. You might not want to leave at all because you will be so well looked after while there.
Cawleys Hotel Tubbercurry Co Sligo
Today is a scenic drive day. You are going to visit some breath-taking coastal scenery. You will drive to North Sligo where you will take in Mullaghmore Coastal drive, Glencar waterfall, WB Yeats last resting place and Strandhill beach. There you can relax in a seaweed bath or you can go to Queen Mebh's grave on the top of the mountain that looks down on the Atlantic ocean and the golden beach. Return to Cawleys Hotel in South Sligo.
You go West today to Co Mayo and then to Galway. Your first stop is Westport house and garden in that quaint little town of Westport. You should take time to explore this town with all its craft shops and nice restaurants and then we take a scenic drive to the world famous Kylemore Abbey and walled garden.
We visit the city of the Tribes today......Galway! Music filled streets, bustling shops and bars, little craft shops and cobbled streets. Visit the museum and so much more. Get some shopping in too! You could also go out West to Spiddal Craft village or go South to Kinvarra, a beautiful coastal town. Stay in a B&B tonight in Galway and experience the night life while there.
Return to Dublin airport where you will return your car and take your flight back home, but you can explore places between Galway and Dublin if you book your flight to leave in the evening.
