RETURN TO YOUR HOTEL: 4:00 PM
A Galapagos National Park Naturalist Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Ayora and you will travel 35 minutes by bus to the Itabaca Canal. There we will board the yacht and sail 45 minutes to Plazas Island.
Upon reaching Plazas we will walk 45 minutes to one hour to observe land iguanas in their natural habitat as well as hybrid iguanas (a cross between a land iguana and a marine iguana). We can also see a large colony of sea lions and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
After enjoying lunch on board the yacht we’ll navigate to Punta Carrion. Here we’ll snorkel from the yacht with the opportunity to swim with white-tipped reef sharks, sea turtles, rays and sea lions.
From here we navigate back to the canal and return by bus to Puerto Ayora.
