Jai Uttal is a grammy nominee, kirtan artist, multi-instrumentalist, and ecstatic vocalist. He is considered a pioneer in the world music community with his combined influences from India and American rock and jazz. Jai has been leading, teaching, and performing World Music and kirtan—the ancient yoga of chanting or singing to God—around the world for close to 50 years, creating a safe environment for people to open their hearts and voices.

For me, chanting is my bliss. To gather with like-minded individuals from around the world to chant every day with Jai Uttal, Nubia, and Vish was an absolute dream. Then there's Blue Spirit which is a unique place; I was thrilled to learn about the Longevity Center. The food was delish, the accommodations were spotless (we were in the main bldg). There was plenty to do and lots of ways to rest and revitalize.

Kirtan Camp was perfection, it was beyond what can be put into words. Jai, Nu, and Vish are extraordinary individuals who made my experience and my son's one that will live with us forever. From singing, to sharing devotion, to meeting like-minded souls, to enjoying the paradise that is Blue Spirit, I'd repeat this trip infinitely. I look forward to our next Kirtan Camp, to building and strengthening this incredible community, and to growing together in love and peace. Thank you, Jai, Nu, and Vish!

Beautiful setting, amazing and friendly staff, great food. The extra treatment options were great, and the Kirtan Camp event was really fantastic. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly. There are a lot of steps to climb though that got easier. There were beautiful plants, birds and beaches, and great meeting spaces. Loved it very much.

Chanting with Jai Uttal is like diving into a flowing river of sweetness. Jai and Nubia take care of everybody, and it’s a true community they create. Highly recommend.
