David Thompson and Eric Bennett are bringing their unbelievable nature photography talents to Japan. As revered master trainers, they both have been instrumental in guiding countless photographers towards the realization of their creative vision, offering invaluable expertise in post-processing techniques, composition finesse, and the use of light as a guide.

Mark Davis calls Japan home and has an intimate understanding of region, this landscape photography workshop strikes a perfect balance between expert guidance, personal creative exploration and cultural immersion.

Our small group sizes are designed purposely to ensure we are able to get to the best photography locations within Japan that others can’t! 

Hotels are included during the workshop (20-26 October). Rooms are single occupancy rooms.

Daily transportation during the workshop dates will be provided. 

Participants should be in good physical health to attend this landscape photography tour. There will be early mornings and we will regularly return late on most some evenings. Don't worry there will be plenty of time to rest on location throughout the tour.

Physical difficulty of the photography locations we intend on visiting will be easy to moderately strenuous. Most photography locations will be a short hike from our parking location however, there is always a possibility for longer hikes and some elevation gain. We will always go to where the best conditions are for any given day! 

We will schedule an individual Skype, Zoom call with each reserved participant to provide a more detailed brief on what to expect to include arrival instructions, answering any and all questions regarding gear, travel recommendations, etc.

A WhatsApp group will be created to help answer any questions and assist everyone in getting to know one another prior to your arrival. I have found this helps everyone lean on each other for support throughout your Japan workshop experience.
