Konichiwa! Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita/Haneda Airport, our tour representative will greet and welcome us at the airport and transfer to the hotel and assist with the checking-in. On the way to the hotel, have a quick peek of Tokyo city. Arrive at the hotel, it is time to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone.
Full day tour in Tokyo to explore this dynamic capital city, where over 11 million people live, making the population one of the largest in the world. First visit Meiji Shrine, a key Shinto religious site that was dedicated to the Imperial Family in 1926. Meiji Jingu is one of the most popular shrines in Tokyo and is visited by millions
of people every year. Later, visit Tokyo Tower, a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan, built in 1958. At 332.9 meters, it is the second-tallest structure in Japan. In the afternoon, we will take you to the Ginza where you can enjoy shopping. The Ginza is Tokyo's most famous
upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants. (B)
Start your journey with a visit to the Tsukiji Outer Market, a vibrant hub of fresh seafood, local delicacies, and authentic Japanese street food—a paradise for food lovers! Next, immerse yourself in the futuristic charm of Odaiba, where you’ll marvel at the life-sized Gundam statue, a symbol of Japan’s cutting-edge creativity and
technological innovation. Finally, step back in time at Asakusa’s Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most iconic temple. Stroll through Nakamise Street, lined with shops offering traditional snacks and souvenirs, and soak in the spiritual and cultural ambiance of this historic site. (B)
Check out of the hotel in the morning and board the tour bus for a full day of sightseeing, beginning at the UNESCO World Heritage, Mt. Fuji area. You will visit Lake Kawakuchi. The crater lake was born from a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji from various angles. Later, we will take you to Oshino Hakkai, or the Eight Seas of Oshino, which is a set of eight ponds
located in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several centuries ago. The eight ponds are fed by snowmelt from the slopes of Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of volcanic rock over a period of several decades. Oshino Hakkai are part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO
World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013. Drive to Shizuoka/Aichi for the night. (B)
Following breakfast, depart Shizuoka/Aichi and travel to Kyoto, Japan's cultural and artistic center, and the country's capital for over 1,000 years. Kyoto is a sophisticated blend of the ancient and the modern. Upon your arrival in Kyoto, we will take you to visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, renowned for its thousands of vibrant vermilion torii gates that create a stunning and unforgettable pathway. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city at your leisure, discovering Kyoto’s rich history and unique charm. (B)
Today is a free day, or you can join the optional tour - Discover Kyoto’s Timeless Treasures ($80/person) Embark on an in-depth exploration of Kyoto by visiting its most iconic landmarks. Marvel at the golden splendor of Kinkakuji Temple, stroll through the serene beauty of the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and admire the awe-inspiring architecture of Sanjusangendo, home to 1,001 intricately crafted statues of Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy. This journey showcases the essence of Kyoto’s history, culture, and natural beauty. (B)
This morning, enjoy a special visit to Tōdaiji in Nara Deer Park, known as the "Great Eastern Temple." As one of Japan's most famous and historically significant temples, it stands as a true landmark of Nara. Later, we will make our way to Osaka. Our first stop will be Dotonbori, a vibrant and bustling commercial street that has
been a hub of activity since the Edo Period. Filled with theaters, shops, and food stalls, it represents the energetic spirit of Osaka's Minami area. Here, you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch and shop at your leisure. Finally, we will visit Osaka Castle, another iconic symbol of the city, steeped in history and grandeur.
You’ll stay overnight in Osaka, conveniently near KIX Airport. (B)
