Day 1: Hometown - Tokyo Board an international flight bound for Tokyo and begin our Asia vacation. Spend the night aboard as our flight.
Day 2: Arrive Tokyo Konichiwa! Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita/Haneda Airport, our tour representative will greet and welcome you at the airport and transfer to the hotel and assist you with the checking-in. On the way to the hotel, have a quick peek of Tokyo city. Arrive at the hotel, it is time to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone
Day 3: Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Shizuoka (Breakfast, Dinner) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in the morning and board the tour bus for a full day of sightseeing, beginning at the UNESCO World Heritage, Mt. Fuji. You will ascend to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji to enjoy the spectacular views at 2,300m (when weather permits). There are some restaurants and snack stands for you to grab a quick lunch. Later we will visit Lake Kawakuchi. The crater lake was born from a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji from various angles. You will take a 15-minute cruise ride on the lake followed by Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway (also called the Kachi Kachi Ropeway). This cable car brings you up the 220 meters to the observation point and offers fantastic views of the lake as you ascend. Tonight, relax over a hotel buffet dinner in the Shizuoka area.
Day 4: Shizuoka area - Kyōto (Breakfast) Following breakfast, depart the Shizuoka area and travel to Kyoto, Japan's cultural and artistic center, and the country's capital for over 1,000 years. Kyoto is a sophisticated blend of the ancient and the modern, an urban environment where museums, four star restaurants and active entertainment venues flourish alongside temples, small shops and quiet neighborhoods. Upon arriving in Kyoto, we will take you to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates.
Day 5: Kyoto-Nara-Osaka-Kyoto (Breakfast)
tour to Nara and Osaka: This morning,make a special visit to Nara Deer Park, home to the freely roaming deer. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the gods, Nara's deers have become a symbol of the city and have even been designated as a natural treasure. Nara's deer are surprisingly tame, although they can be aggressive if they think you will feed them. Deer crackers are for sale around the park, and some deer have learned to bow to visitors to ask to be fed. You will also visit Tōdaiji, "Great Eastern Temple"), one of Japan's most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara. Later, we will head for Osaka. We will first take you to Dotonbori, a bustling commercial street that is representative of the Minami area of Osaka, always busy with playhouses and food shops from the Edo Period to today. You will have some free time to have lunch and do some shopping here. Lastly, we will visit another landmark of Osaka-Osaka Castle. Afterwards driveback to Kyoto. Enjoy the last night of your stay in Kyoto!
Day 6: Kyōto (Breakfast) Check out of the hotel this morning. We will take an in-depth tour of Kyoto by visiting the must-sees in Kyoto including Kinkakuji Temple, Kiyomizudera Temple and the Gion district. Kinkakuji Temple is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto. It is one of the most popular buildings in Kyoto, attracting many visitors annually. Kiyomizudera Temple is a Buddhist temple and is part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 7: Kyoto -Tokyo (Breakfast) Today you can either take our bus back to Tokyo, or join our optional Shinkansen program. Optional Shinkansen bullet train and Tokyo half day tour: ($280/person) Take the Shinkansen bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo. Later you will visit the Asakusa Sensoji Area, Shibuya crossing. Overnight in Tokyo.
Day 8: Tokyo (Breakfast) Full day tour in Tokyo to explore this dynamic capital city, where over 11 million people live, making the population one of the largest in the world. First visit Meiji Shrine, a key Shinto religious site that was dedicated to the Imperial Family in 1926. Meiji Jingu is one of the most popular shrines in Tokyo and is visited by millions of people every year. Tokyo Station, the most elegant rail stations in Japan’s capital, Tokyo—the neoclassical design of the station’s red-brick facade is said to have been inspired by Amsterdam Central Station. We will walk from Tokyo station to the Imperial Palace, the residence of Japan's Imperial Family. Your last visit will be Akihabara, the kingdom of Manga.
Day 9: Tokyo Departure (Breakfast) Today we will check out hotel, then we will arrange a hotel-shuttle bus(fee included) to Nairta or Haneda airport. Your amazing Japan trip ends. Home sweet home.
