We continue to trek in the ancient pilgrimage area of Tatopani (referred as Hot Water), where we will be able to take rest and relax in the soothing hot springs. Following the breathtaking Kali Gandaki River Valley, officially the deepest gorge in the world flanked by the immense statures of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna (both mountains are above 8000m). Continuing our ascent, we will be able to marvel at the gargantuan glacier of Dhaulagiri. We will arrive on the dry windy planes of the Tibetan plateau (2600m) where the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath temple (3800m) is situated, with its 108 spring water taps and mysterious natural gas fires. Here we will experience the deeply spiritual atmosphere and observe the unusual merging of Hindu and Buddhist worshipers. Continuing, we descend across the windy plateau to Jomsom village, from where we will take an exhilarating mountain flight through the Kali Gandaki gorge enjoying our last spectacular views of the Himalayas and finally takes us back to Pokhara, the beautiful city with impressive view of lakes, temples and mountains.
