Wadi Mujib - B, D

After breakfast, leave for Wadi Mujib, an adventure in the beautiful waterfall canyon. Dress for getting wet and if you have water shoes, bring them! (You can rent them on site if they have your size in stock.)

This activity can be considered a little more on the adventurous side. You will be climbing and jumping off waterfalls but there are ropes to help guide you.

Wadi Mujib is also known as Arnon Stream, a river in Jordan. The river empties into the Dead Sea circa 420 meters below sea level. Today, Wadi Mujib is fed by seven tributaries. The western part of the river is the site of Mujib Biosphere Reserve, popular for hikes & canyoning amid dramatic rock formations.

Afterwards, head back to your resort at the Dead Sea. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea, is the warm soothing and super salty water itself. Some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine, and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Seas rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the waters healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian Sun.
