"And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?" -Rumi
Join Toni Benino and Laura Gotlin this summer on a "Journey Back to Self" Yoga Retreat in Marrakech, Morocco. Our home for the week will be the Peacock Pavilions Hotel, a handmade, artisanal boutique hotel located on the outskirts of Marrakech. This culturally designed space is nestled in an olive grove with a breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains.
The estate is comprised of three pavilions: the Main Pavilion (surrounded by hundreds of rose bushes), the Atlas Pavilion (guest rooms) and the Medina Pavilion (private house), as well as outdoor areas.
The hotel supports Project Soar, a non-profit organization established by the owners, to empower local Moroccan girls through arts and sports as well as health and English language education. Participants on the retreat will spend a morning volunteering here.

Welcome dinner at Peacock Pavilion
40 minute SlowFlow class
We will spend the morning after a yoga flow and breakfast, volunteering with Project Soar. (We are so very excited to be a part of this organization!)
After lunch and some free time at the Pavilion, we will head into town for a Guided Tour of the Medina. We will have dinner in town this evening.
We will start the day with Yoga, breakfast, and time spent at the Pavilion. Slowing down is part of the journey! Choosing time and Choosing stillness.
After lunch, we will head to Chef Tarik's Organic Cooking Class. We will head back to the Pavillion after cooking and feasting, for an evening Yin class.
We will begin the day with Yoga and breakfast. Our transfer from the Pavilion will be about an hour after breakfast where we will head on a tour (TBA), have lunch in Gueliz, and spend the day shopping or however you wish.
Once back at Peacock Pavilion, we will have an evening Yoga flow, followed by dinner and an outdoor cinema.
Our day will begin with a partner flow and breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Atlas Mountains, where we will be guided through a hike at Kasbah du Toubkal. After a light dinner later on at the Medina, we will return to our home away from home for evening restorative yoga and journal reflection.
After a balancing workshop and breakfast in the morning, spend Day 6 as you wish. Enjoy a day of slowing down at the Pavilion, head back into the Medina, or anything that fills your soul. Make a plan ahead of time, or wake up and decide that day!
Lunch will be served at the Pavilion for those staying around. We will depart for Jemaa el Fna square in the evening, for a fancy dinner out with a show :)
We will begin the day with a meditation and Yoga flow, followed by breakfast. We will depart for the Hammam after breakfast, and spend time soaking in this cultural treat of replenishing, renewal, and rejuvenation. We will have a late lunch at the Medina, and some time embedded for shopping. Once back at the Peacock Pavilion, we will enjoy a farewell dinner, as well as closing circle to come together and reflect on our week.
Our morning will begin with a meditation, and Vinyasa Expand and Contract Flow. We will be served breakfast before our departures for RAK and final farewells.
