Come experience a truly wonderful journey into the spiritual and human aspects of Yoga and adventure. This retreat is an event designed for a limited number of Yogi’s who are eager to further their practice, the spiritual path of a yogi, and enjoy all that the beautiful island of Bali has to offer.
There will be twice daily yoga classes available for yogi’s of all levels as well as offerings of 3 specialized workshops and two full day-trips to explore not only the island of Bali but the oceans around it as well. A full breakdown is listed below.
You will have a shuttle transfer service from your hotel/airport to the venue and transfer service to return to your hotel of choice/airport on the day of checkout from the venue. There will be three meals per day included: All you can eat breakfast, an amazing lunch, and a communal dinner all with Vegan/Vegetarian options available for each beautiful human that attends.
Hatha based with a focus on breath, body, mind, and spirit alignment. Morning ceremonies will feature a 30-minute guided meditation and breathwork to help you focus your mind and spirit for the journey each day in addition to yoga targeted to get the blood flowing. There will also be beach sessions to bring you closer to the Earth and Sea, helping you ground the body and teaching you how to allow the mind to flow like the water that supports life. Nighttime classes will offer both Yin/Moon-based movements that will calm the mind and body and relax the nervous system bringing you into a state of peace that will allow you to let go and relax for the nights' rest to come. Special sessions of Yoga Nidra will also be offered.
Workshop 1 - This workshop is both art-based and writing based. Delving into the minds' ability to release through prompted journaling and artistic creation. There have been numerous studies on the benefits of both art creation and journaling. The workshop will be designed so that you will learn how to create a journal (if you are not already using one), find prompts for writing within your daily life that allows you to journal freely, and will show you how the simple art of doodling is your subconscious minds way of releasing thoughts and feelings onto paper.
Workshop 2 - Designed and implemented by my amazing friends Miranda and Rory, this workshop is a journey deeper into human connection, with ourselves and those around us. This workshop is for both men and women and will be focused on the connections we create on a daily basis. With silent affirmation ceremonies and a lecture on Tantra, the workshop will allow you to develop a deeper understanding of your own desires, thoughts, and feelings while also showing you how you can truly connect with your partner, your family, your friends, and strangers.
Workshop 3 -"Flow" is a unique concept in our daily lives and our ability to be more fluid in everything that we do. Whether it is our practice, our meditation, or our path through this world. When we practice fluidity we are more capable of handling events and stressors that bombard us each day. Whether it is the inconsiderate driver or the boss who yells at the staff constantly, having a fluid mindset and practice allows you to recover quickly without allowing static processes to build up in your body which will eventually lead to traumatic outbursts, depression, or anger. Be sure to bring a notebook, there will be some amazing concepts presented at this workshop that you will want to take away with you!
Trip #1: Unesco World Heritage Site Tour
5 of the most beautiful places in Bali during an all-day excursion by a private guide.
There are multiple options for accommodations available. From couples to dorms, to single rooms, there are beautiful and comfortable spaces available for every participant!
All meals are included in the cost of the retreat. Whether we are out for the day on a day trip, or merely all down at the beach, your main meals of breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
While we are out, there will be multiple options for participants to choose from for a meal during the day trips and during our beach excursion.
Please note: There will be no alcohol allowed during this retreat as we will be focusing on the bodies healing abilities through Ayurvedic practices of food/drink choices. Also, no smoking of any kind during the retreat. This retreat is designed to bring the body back into an alignment that is beneficial for your daily life.
90 days or more before August 15, 2020, Walkabout Yoga will issue a full refund with deposit.
60 days - 90 days before August 15, 2020, Walkabout Yoga will issue a 75% refund minus the deposit.
30 days - 15 days before August 15, 2020, Walkabout Yoga will issue a 50% refund minus the deposit.
15 days or less before August 15, 2020, Walkabout Yoga will not issue a refund.
For the Day trips:
Heritage Site tours: A good pair of walking shoes, shorts, a shirt that will cover your shoulders (Ladies and Guys), a reusable water bottle, and your sense of wonder!
Diving Day tour: Swimwear, cover for lunch/sun exposure, and your amazing hearts!
All other days, your choice of yoga gear/clothing.
You do not have to bring your own yoga mat if you do not wish to, there are yoga mats on-site provided by the venue.
Pack for a Bali Summer with a week of amazing pools, beaches, temples, yoga, snorkeling, manta rays, boats, sunsets, and oh yeah... amazing food.
You will be picked up from either the airport or your current hotel and transported to the venue. After settling in we will gather for an amazing opening ceremony and a community dinner to get to know each other.
