About your trip

If you have been waiting for the call to visit Ireland, this is your moment! Join yoga teacher Sarah Lindgren for this 1 week exclusive retreat in breathtaking Ireland on June 4-10, 2027. This retreat is located on the Cliffs of Moher and we have the retreat space all to ourselves! This is the ideal time to travel to Ireland, as the wildflowers of spring are in full bloom and the weather is relatively mild, making it perfect for exploring.

The Cliffs of Moher offers carefully crafted rooms with hotel-grade mattresses and cozy linens that await you. Discover a true home away from home as you settle into this luxurious space complete with four different living spaces for lounging, connecting and reading. Ten wild acres of seaview on the Cliffs of Moher land to explore. An abundance of therapeutic options for your rest and renewal, including; cedar wood barrel sauna, herbal steam room, 3 cold plunge pools, outdoor hot tub, wellness lounge and therapy room.

Each morning after awakening you will be greeted with the option of morning meditation or contemplation followed by an extended yoga practice in our beautiful glass walled studio with heated floors, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Each morning practice will include a breath based mobility focused yoga practice that consists of somatic, hatha, and vinyasa styles. When exploring more challenging postures Sarah will offer options or variations to keep practice supportive and accessible. Our yoga space is fully equipped with yoga mats, soft woolen mats for restorative sessions, chairs if needed, bolsters, blocks, bricks, belts, blankets & eye pillows and 2 bathrooms in the studio building.

Following morning practice you will be invited to brunch onsite at 11am. After brunch, welcome yourself to freetime. You can curl up in one of the many shared spaces or perhaps explore the cold pools, sauna or indulge in a spa treatment. On June 5 and June 9 you have the opportunity to enjoy local tours. June 5 we will explore a local island and on June 9 we will explore the magic of the Burren and Galway. You are also welcome to make arrangements of your own to explore at your own will. The Cliffs of Moher retreat center is situated along The Wild Atlantic Way, which is an awe-inspiring stretch of coastal beauty that captures the essence of Ireland’s untamed wild landscape with towering cliffs that are pounded by the mighty Atlantic Ocean and command attention with their sheer majesty, while secluded beaches offer a tranquil respite amidst the wildness. The Wild Atlantic Way is an invitation to embrace the untamed, to lose yourself in the raw beauty of nature, and to witness the extraordinary power and tranquillity that coexist along this mesmerizing coastal journey. We are situated in the middle of the Wild Atlantic Way. Here are just a few of the spaces to explore nearby; Cliffs of Moher - walking distance, Liscannor & Clahane - walking distance, Lahinch Beach - 10 minute drive, Ennistymon old Irish town - 15 minute drive, The Burren National Park - 30 minute drive, and many other sacred sites including St.Brigid's Well

On days free from afternoon activities you will have the opportunity to join Sarah in a second yoga practice at 5pm, before dinner. These may include any of the following practices; Yoga Nidra, restorative yoga and pose clinic to better understand postures in your body.

Dinner will be daily at 7pm, with the exception of Wednesday when the Chef has the night off. You are welcome to come explore Galway with me and try some local cuisine. Cliffs of Moher Retreat Center’s culinary delights have truly made them renowned. The menu is a testament to creativity and adventure, showcasing the bounty of their organic garden. SL
Sarah Lindgren
I began practicing yoga in 2006 while I was expecting my first daughter. That initial experience of self love and fully being present in my body, even with all of the crazy changes was truly profound! Since then I have found that a practice guided by my own intuition and the principals of the 8 limb path of yoga provides me with a deeper understanding of myself. I practice and teach because yoga gives you permission to be yourself, uncovered, and beautifully raw. I love the honesty of the yoga practice and how it demands self acceptance, which is truly the heart of this practice. As a Yoga Teacher I've been teaching yoga since summer of 2015, gaining 200 hour certification in 2016 from Moksha Yoga in Chicago, completing the program with more than 700 hours of training. Training with yoga masters like Gary Kraftsow and Aadil Palkhivala. My mission as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher is to help make the world of yoga more accessible to all students.
