About this trip

 Immerse into the  contemplative practices of yoga and meditation for a restorative weekend. Yoga  include active flowing practice and passive yin combined with walking and sitting meditation. Enjoy the pristine landscape as you delve into ancient wisdom. Anjali and Laura will create a safe and welcoming sanctuary for you.

Laura Thomas -Anjali Desai
Laura Thomas is a Kripalu trained, master level, Yoga instructor with more than 20 years of yoga experience. She is a staff member at Kripalu center as a yoga mentor and program assistant. Laura loves to infuse yoga into her varied interests and has lead retreats internationally. Laura is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and opened Heartspace Therapy and Yoga in 2018. She is an outdoor enthusiast who believes in the power of nature and yoga, combined together, to bring deep healing. She offers workshops and retreats in Paddleboard yoga, Ayurveda and mindfulness techniques. Anjali Desai is a 200 hour Himalayan Institute certified yoga instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. She is an initiate of the Himalayan Tradition and continues to be a student of this living tradition studying yoga in all its aspects. Anjali’s style of teaching combines breath connected movement where she leads her students on a journey of inner peace and connectedness.
