Join Lila Heller and guest teacher's Amanda Smith and Jennifer Ammenti for Journey to The Heart's Virtual Retreat! This retreat takes place in the comfort of your home. Let yourself soak in self-care for one full day. Experience the gift of being guided and led down the path of self discovery. Learn to tune into your inner voice and inner guidance in order to stay grounded in these uncertain times.
Every year for the past 8 years Lila has run this retreat in Mexico and Costa Rica. Amanda Smith was her co-creator for three of those years. Jen has co-taught three women's retreats with Lila in California. They are back together again to bring you a day filled with connection, love, support and of course --movement.
This retreat will include, journaling, meditation, Pilates, and yoga. The day will be broken up into three sessions: a morning session, a midday session, and an evening session. We are looking forward to sharing this special day with you!
About Your Guides:
Lila
I am passionate about education, movement and well-being. I am a movement coach pulling from my trainings in Pilates, Yoga, Primal Movement and functional neurology, retreat creator, and mother. Dance brought me into the wellness world and my love for the human experience and learning about the body has kept me here. I have taught hundreds of people over the last 20 years and my fascination with this ever growing body of work and how I can help each individual who comes to me keeps growing.
I grew up in a very small town in Southern Oregon and spent my days in the outdoors. I have a deep appreciation for the simple things in life and incorporate simplicity in my work.

Amanda
I am a Pilates, yoga, and personal training, I fell in love with functional neurology and the cutting edge principles of Z-Health Performance. My goal is to educate you about your body, with love and attention, and expand your capabilities in all of your pursuits.
Together, we will connect your goals with the day-to-day practices of movement, breath, spirituality, and mindfulness.

I am an educator, life coach, and social justice co-conspirator, and lifelong learner. I am the founder of The Unwound Mind where I use art, storytelling, and identity explorations to make visible unconscious beliefs and mindsets that create barriers to showing up as our genuine, authentic selves. I find inspiration for writing through my personal experiences, archival documents, and oral histories.
Please designate a space in your home for you to be free of distractions and have room to move.

There are a limited number of full and partial scholarships available to the Journey To The Heart Virtual Day Retreat. Priority will be given to those who express a financial need, and applicants who belong to ethnic, racial, religious, cultural, and sexual identity groups that have traditionally been underrepresented populations. Please apply by February 1, 2021. You will be notified of your application status by February 5, 2021.
