After breakfast, we will explore Dakar, the capital of Senegal.

We will discover tourist hotspots, such as the village festival of art, the independence place, the presidential house, the main cathedral and the African Renaissance Monument built on a hill over hundred meter high. We will visit the museum of black civilizations, the fulfillment of president Leopold Senghor dreams, first Senegal president, recording a collection of African masks, sculpture and history. The museum retraces the oldest and first civilization from Africa to the rest of the world.

There will be lunch and then a 20 minutes ferry boat to Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Land of martyr and suffering, Goree was an important slave transit center.

Wewill visit the famous slave house and follow the curator's speech about the history of the triangular slave trade in West Africa.

We will observe the Door of no return, through which millions and millions of enslaved African passed on the way to slavery in the Americas.

After breakfast, we will leave Dakar en route for Bandia Game Reserve, where we will arrive after an hour driving. Once inside the park, we will spend 3 hours of safari through a forest of baobab and acacias trees.

In the afternoon, we will go to Pink Lake which is located next to the Atlantic Ocean. The pink hue of this lake is caused by a combination of microorganisms and its high salt content (In fact it is 11 time more salty than the ocean and the second place of salinity after the Dead Sea.

Then we will go to a Fulani village. We will be welcomed by the chief and his wives, interact with the family and then back to Dakar.

After breakfast, we will have a workshop on rediscovering yourself.
