Gwen has been practicing yoga for 20 years, received her 250-hours Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in 2010, teaching since 2011.
In 2012, she completed 100-hours Anusara Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman’s, a teacher’s teacher who has trained and certified thousands of yoga teachers around Asia, and 100-hours Yoga Therapy with Judy Krupp.
To stay updated with teaching methodology and continuing education, Gwen attends workshops, retreats and trainings worldwide with international acclaimed yoga teachers such as Ross Rayburn, Sarah Powers, Desiree Rumbaugh, Martin Kirk, Jason Crandall and Roger Cole. In 2016, Gwen completed Relax and Renew Level 1 Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, one of the pioneer yoga teacher in modern Yoga.
Gwen’s teaching style focuses on correct alignment of specific body while synchronising movement with the breath, creating a strong yet therapeutic practice to achieve a balance of strength and flexibility in the body. It is her passion to share Yoga’s philosophy on the mat and encourage to take those experiences off the mat into our daily lives.
As a lifetime student of Yoga, Gwen is currently pursuing 500-hours Advanced Teacher Training under Tiffany Cruikshank’s Yoga Medicine - a thorough, anatomically based training system that trains teachers across the globe to work more powerfully with their students.
When Gwen is not studying or teaching, she can be found running after or with her family of boys, and traveling around the world to explore the magic and vibrancy of our beautiful planet. Mostly, she strives to stay present within all the complexity that life presents.
