What is Intensive Dieta?

During the Dieta the student will follow one or more Master Plant Dieta in Isolation and will mostly receive the visit of the teacher and facilitators. The Master Plant dieta or teacher plant diet is a unique opportunity to dive into the Shipibo lineage and study the tradition of connecting with the spirits of plant medicine during an Ayahuasca retreat in the Peruvian Jungle.
In the tradition, the dieta will assist the dietero/a (student) to establish a life-long relationship with the spirits dwelling in the plants or trees that play an important role in the Shamanic practice of working with Ayahuasca. Part of the 26-day Shamanic Initiation journey with the Master Plants, learning the tradition is facilitated through lectures, workshops, sharing, and periods of personal silence and self-reflection.  
While in Isolation on a private tambo (jungle hut)  the student will receive the meals at his/her accommodation and contact with other participants will be very limited.
