Renew, Reset & Recharge Surrounded by the Lush Jungles
Join Sak Beh Yoga & Yoga Navan in the Mexican Caribbean jungle, for a 15-day immersion into the foundation of yoga teachings. You will learn two styles of yoga; Sivananda Hatha & Vinyasa, daily meditation, Pranayama and theroy classes.
Our focus is to create a calm and intimate learning environment, to inspire students to connect with themselves and nature. We break up the long training days at this multifaceted property with; meditation around the Cenote (waterhole), shaded yoga classes under the tall jungle trees, lectures in the open air palapa, breath-work practice in the natural tree circle, philosophy classes in the hammock hangout space, discussions over the bonfire, and enjoy self-study sessions in the plenty of tables and lounge areas hidden around the property among tropical plants.
This course also puts a focus on nutrition and meals, as we know that right nutrition is a key factor to endure long days of study with a healthy body and mind. All of the groceries are organic and all the fruit and vegetables are from local farms. The food is freshly prepared daily by our highly trained chefs, who will create exquisite and flavourful meals.
As a cultural experience and to honor the Mayan ancestry of this land, we will start the program with a welcome ceremony led by a traditional Shaman. Furthermore, we have included an optional Temazcal Ceremony to the program, which is an ancient Mayan tradition and a spiritual cleansing ritual still practiced today. It is a ceremony of purification and healing used to connect with the energies of nature and gives our students the opportunity to reconnect with the healing and spiritual energies of the Mayan.
At the end of your 15 day journey you will feel like a New You! You will be clear minded and you will feel confident enough to teach a Hatha/Vinyasa class and/or a Meditation/Pranayama class. You will find your specialty with your self-development and discipline. You will be renewed and you will go home a Yoga Teacher that is ready to share your new knowledge.
