Drive to medieval city of Patan, which has ponds, local settlements, narrow alleys, quiet courtyards and colorful market to reach the famous Durbar Square of Patan built in Newari architecture; the architecture from the valley. Brick and wood carvings are used for building these structures. This city also houses living goddess tradition called “Kumari”

Drive to Pashupatinath temple, a hindu temple where there is also cremation activities take place in the open. This site is also known as the most sacred site for Hindu followers across the globe.

Drive to Boudhanath Stupa, which is the largest stupa in the world where there live Buddhist monks and people of Nepali-Tibetan origin. Visit one of the prayer rooms or monasteries in the vicinity, walk around the inner circle of the stupa and visit a monk for some open discussion and lecture with knowledgeable monks for the understanding of Buddhism from a practitioner. Finally, visiting Tibetan gallery and lunch from one of the terrace restaurant is usually recommended in this monument.
