About this trip

Want the best weekend story to tell your colleagues on a Monday? Join us in Sweden kayaking around stunning islands in the Stockholm Archipelago! Wild camp on a private uninhabited island and explore tranquil coves and rugged nature. No days off work too!

What to expect:

Explore the stunning archipelago by kayak during the day time finding beautiful beaches and coves for lunch breaks and uninhabited islands to camp on during the night. The the archipelago is relatively protected and the paddling shouldn't be too strenuous (we can pair people up accordingly), but you will need to be prepared to leave luxuries of civilisation behind. We will hopefully find a sauna to reward you at the end :)

Itinerary:

Day 1: Pick up from NYO (Skavsta) airport to meet 11:45 Ryanair flight or arrive the night before. Transfer to starting location to begin paddling late in the afternoon. Set up camp after a few hours of paddling and prepare dinner by the fire followed by a few drinks and games.

Day 2: Have breakfast and jump back in the kayak to continue exploring the archipelago in search of a nice lunch spot, maybe a game of volleyball or a swim depending on what we come across. Continue paddling into the evening and a well earned dinner and drink by the fire after a long day.

Day 3: Start your day with another healthy breakfast and begin paddling back, hopefully find a sauna and some time to chill before being dropped back at NYO in the evening.

Please get in touch with us in advance if you need to be picked up or dropped off in Stockholm or another airport.

FAQ
1. Can I come by myself?
Absolutely yes, we love solo travellers, the majority of people come by themselves and by the end of the trip you won’t feel like you came by yourself
2. Do I need to be fitter/stronger? In short this is an active trip so you will need a decent level of fitness to be able to paddle for 4-7 hours a day, but the paddling isn’t particularly strenuous and we’ll pair people up according to ability. No prior experience in Kayaking is necessary.
3. What should I wear?
We recommend bringing a good waterproof jacket, and bring gym clothes that stay warm when they get wet, sleeping bag, something warm to wear in the evening and a waterproof camera. A packing list will be provided.
4. How big will the group be?

We’re looking to gather a small like minded group of people to create a awesome social atmosphere so will limit the group to 12 people.
5. Do I need insurance?
Yes - please make sure you have travel insurance. We don’t provide insurance and can’t take any responsibilities for the activities
6. How old do I need to be?
Most people are in their twenties and thirties
7. How do we get there?
Please see flights section above, you are also welcome to join and do your own thing before or after.
8. What if I have to cancel?
As we have to reserve kayaks, hire cars and pay the guides a deposit we ask for a Deposit. If you have to cancel and give us some notice we may be able to find a replacement for your spot, although we can’t guarantee this. The more notice you can give the more likely we are to find a replacement.

We put on trips with a range of outdoor activities, social games and activities to bring people together. In the spirit of TravelSoul we look after each other so you may be helping with preparing meals for the group, giving good vibes, sharing your skills and talents and helping one another. There is no requirement to, but we love it when people get involved!

Amazing Weekend , Great People. Extremely accommodation to any requests. I would highly recommend TravelSoul to anyone who is looking for a group where everyone is treated like family. Rich was amazing , would definitely go on more hikes with him. Ensuring the group is small enables you to really connect with everyone on the hike which is exactly what i want.

What an amazing weekend!!!! I literally loved every minute. Everything was really well organised.....the trek, food, drinks, equipment, etc. There was also a great deal of consideration for how people were feeling, in case plans needed changing.....pace or activity. Met some really lovely, inspiring people & I loved how everyone helped & encouraged each other. This is the first time I’ve done a holiday like this but I’m already planning the next one!!!! Thank you for such a brilliant time!xxxx
