Intermediate and experts paddlers alike are continuously marveled by the variety of world class kayaking rivers in the Tena area. There is something for everyone: small, fun technical rivers, large volume runs, awesome playboating, and steep creeks for adrenaline junkies. 

• Swimsuit/shorts, T-shirt, tennis shoes/river sandals
• Sunglasses (with retention strap), baseball cap
• Sunscreen, insect repellent
• Towel, dry change of clothes

Each day we will meet at 9.00am from our Tena office where you’ll get fitted out with a kayak, spray skirt, paddle, bouyancy vest, and helmet. Your guide will discuss your paddling experience and based on his assessment and the current river conditions will decide which river section to paddle that day. 

Depending on your level of experience we will take you to the best whitewater within your ability.
On arrival at the river your guide will conduct a safety briefing and explain how the trip will run including the signals that he will use. The day is all about showing you some of the best of Ecuador’s paddling while having a safe and enjoyable trip down the river.
During the trip we’ll stop by the side of the river for a delicious picnic lunch including fresh tropical fruits. From the take-out we head back to Tena. Arrival time is approximately 4.00pm but may be earlier or later depending on the river and water level.
