PROJECT AIM

We would like support from volunteers to smarten up the school compound and make it safe to walk around.
The aim is to do some land clearing and create even pathways using recycled tyres to clearly mark them. Also, money raised would go towards purchasing paint to decorate the tyres and create a quality finish within the compound.
To complete the whole project, we estimate needing 400 second hand tyres, however this can be done in stages.

Costs £ 100/US$ 130/£140
The money will go towards purchasing materials, transport and labour for local workmen.

Three (3) days Safari to Masai Mara

Day 1:
Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll have an early breakfast and depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve. It is on the south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Drive past Narok and climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plains''. You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Tented Camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Mara Tented Camp.

Day 2:
Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll have a full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. A visit to the Maasai villages is also an option.
The Mara is the land of African legend. Lions are abundant throughout the park as are the elephants, giraffes, a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colourful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park, the Morans. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay at Mara Camp.

Masaai Mara national reserve is a conservation with the most exciting safari experiences in Kenya. The game drive is fulfilling keeping one engaged on a morning game drive especially in search of the predators that often go into hiding when the heat from the sun is unbearable, you will also have opportunities for an evening game drive. Some people prefer to take full day game drives in Kenya’s finest wildlife park – leaving the lodge with packed lunch and exploring most of the park during the day. The game drives take us in search of Africa’s big five and other wildlife. Wherever you go in vast Maasai Mara, you will see a lot of wildlife. You have an option for a cultural visit to a Maasai Manyata where you will visit a homestead, learn about their life in this village, how they co-exist with the wildlife and their daily activities, food, cultural songs and dance.

Day 3:
