Kenya Masai Volunteering for 7 days


Day 1:


On Arrival at JKIA International Airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your volunteering in the maasai Community and safari to maasai mara. 

Afterwards, depart to m Olasiti village, participants meet their host families at Olasiti Village on arrival from the airport, get a healthy snack, orientations and then proceed to their host Families, have lunch, help in daily chores, in the afternoon walking to see giraffes around the bush then back to the host families, evening, you prepare supper with host family and share cultures and experiences.


Day 2:

Meet with the Maasai women in Olasiti and learn more about the art of Beadwork to create a beautiful range of jewelry and clothing. In the evening, bonfire, storytelling and goat slaughter and making traditional soup using natural herbs. Be taught some Maasai songs and dances. Experience evening open skies and get to learn about the universe and spiritual believes.


Day 3:

Visit the School Project, Visit the Clinic and thereafter, walk through beautiful historic sceneries of Olasiti village and visit two spiritual trees and immerse yourself with meditation and learn how Maasai tribe asked rains from God, walk and see caves, and a special tree (More than 1,000 years old) whereby a great Maasai leader was killed.


Day 4:

Visit to Ngong town and Climbing Ngong Hills and view the great Rift valley. 


Day 5:

tourist travel to the hot spring (hot water comes from underground) and see Flamingoes in Lake Magadi, which is salty lake in the desert, have natural bath in the hot water from the spring and in the evening, tourist make bonfires, cook and dance with the local. 


Day 6:

Healthy breakfast in the wilderness, and thereafter in the morning is departure back to Olasiti village.


Six (6) days Safari to Masai Mara


Day 1:

Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll have an early breakfast and depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve. It is on the south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Drive past Narok and climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plains''. You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Tented Camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Mara Tented Camp.


Day 2:

Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll have a full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. A visit to the Maasai villages is also an option.

The Mara is the land of African legend. Lions are abundant throughout the park as are the elephants, giraffes, a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colourful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park, the Morans. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay at Mara Camp.


Day 3:

Masaai Mara national reserve is a conservation with the most exciting safari experiences in Kenya. The game drive is fulfilling keeping one engaged on a morning game drive especially in search of the predators that often go into hiding when the heat from the sun is unbearable, you will also have opportunities for an evening game drive. Some people prefer to take full day game drives in Kenya’s finest wildlife park – leaving the lodge with packed lunch and exploring most of the park during the day. The game drives take us in search of Africa’s big five and other wildlife. Wherever you go in vast Maasai Mara, you will see a lot of wildlife. You have an option for a cultural visit to a Maasai Manyata where you will visit a homestead, learn about their life in this village, how they co-exist with the wildlife and their daily activities, food, cultural songs and dance.


Day 4:

Lake Nakuru

Depart after breakfast for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. This lake is famous for its pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon game drive will allow you to see the park's rich, diverse wildlife. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake.

Day 5:

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After early morning game drive and a relaxed breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure - the lodge we book at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. You may also choose to book a one-hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

Day 6:

At the break of dawn, you embark on your concluding safari by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10am for a return road transfer for Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon [ typically by 3pm]. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home. You'll be transferred to the airport arriving in time for your international final departure, where your safari ends.
